President Donald Trump is heading to San Antonio on Wednesday to highlight the miraculous turnaround he orchestrated in protecting the country from violent criminals, including many who were in the country illegally. Since his second term began, he has continued to remove the “worst of the worst.”

For four years under President Joe Biden, the country suffered from Democrats’ disastrous border security policies, which led to the unnecessary deaths of innocent women and girls such as Laken Riley, Rachel Morin, and Jocelyn Nungaray at the hands of violent illegal immigrants. Trump has spent much of his second term cleaning up the mess created by Democrats who previously held power — many of whom want your vote again in November. There is still violent crime in the country, but there has been much less of it since Trump’s second term began less than two years ago.

This work has included implementing initiatives to lower violent crime throughout the country — and they have worked. Under Trump’s leadership, America is unquestionably safer and more secure. As the Trump administration touted in August, the president’s work has left the country with “fewer murders, fewer victims, and safer streets.” It is, objectively, everything any citizen of this country could ever ask for from a president.

While in San Antonio, the president will discuss the miraculous turnaround that has happened under his watch, as he has arguably ushered in a golden age of safety in the country. He promised to make the nation safer, and he has delivered. Look no further than San Antonio, where, under Trump’s direction, the Department of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement have diligently worked to remove some of the worst violent criminal illegal immigrants.

“Thanks to President Trump, San Antonio is safer,” White House spokeswoman Lauren Bis told the Washington Examiner. “The President supercharged ICE to get criminals off the streets, including child sex traffickers, drug traffickers, and other violent criminals. The President’s law and order policies delivered the largest decrease in violent crime in history.”

When Democrats were in power, the scourge of the criminal underworld was allowed to thrive in the United States. With Trump in office, the exact opposite has occurred, with San Antonio being no exception. With the assistance of ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations in San Antonio, Giannys Alexandra Ramirez-Fernandez and Nelson Adrian Perez-Martinez, violent criminal illegal immigrants from Venezuela, were arrested and convicted on multiple charges related to child sex trafficking. Both received significant prison sentences: Ramirez-Fernandez was sentenced to 12.5 years, and Perez-Martinez was sentenced to 20 years.

Both were charged with transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity and conspiracy to traffic a child. Additionally, Perez-Martinez was “found guilty on charges of benefitting from sex trafficking of children and aiding and abetting coercion and enticement.”

“Ramirez-Fernandez illegally entered the United States at an unknown date and location,” read a DHS press release. “Perez-Martinez illegally entered the United States in Texas in 2023 and was arrested by the U.S. Border Patrol. He was then released by the Biden administration.”

These are the kinds of monsters Democrats permitted to run free and terrorize people. They’re also the kinds of criminals Trump has ordered DHS and ICE to remove from the streets to protect people and make the country safer.

“Now, radical Democrats want to abolish ICE and flood American communities with criminals,” Bis said. “The contrast has never been clearer. Extreme Democrats stand with illegal alien criminals while President Trump and commonsense Republicans continue to put the safety of American citizens first.”

Consider other violent criminal illegal immigrants apprehended in the San Antonio area during Trump’s second term. They include two illegal immigrants from Mexico who were arrested by ICE earlier this year. Miguel Cadena-Gomez was “convicted for indecency with a child/ sexual contact and possession of a controlled substance in San Antonio, Texas.” Victor Gonzalez-Ibarra was harming communities in San Antonio through drug trafficking. ICE arrested him in July 2026. His convictions included “possessing/carrying a firearm during and in relation to a drug trafficking crime” and conspiracy to “distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine.”

Additionally, in November 2025, under Trump’s guidance, DHS conducted a “massive operation” in San Antonio that led to the arrest of 27 dangerous illegal immigrants suspected of being members of the violent criminal organization Tren de Aragua. Many of them came into the country while Democrats in the Biden administration presided over a porous border. In May 2025, under Trump’s leadership, DHS arrested 178 criminal illegal immigrants, many of whom were the worst of the worst, convicted of crimes including manufacturing and distributing heroin, assault and battery, domestic violence, and drug trafficking, among other offenses that put innocent people in danger.

DEMOCRATIC NORTH CAROLINA STATE SENATOR ASKS, ‘WHY THE F*** ARE MEN STILL IN CHARGE?’

When Trump campaigned to return to the White House, he promised to make America safe again, and he has fully delivered on that promise. Under his watch, statistics show that the country experienced the largest decrease in violent crime since 1936, the first year such crime data were reported. The nation’s murder rate also dropped by 18.5% in 2025 to “4.1 per 100,000 residents, tying 1955 and 1956 for the lowest rate since FBI national estimates began.”

Trump has provided the voters of this country with a clear choice when it comes to crime. As voters go to the polls in approximately four weeks, Trump’s record on reducing violent crime and removing the worst of the worst dangerous illegal immigrants speaks for itself. He is already making record progress toward ensuring that the citizens of this country are safe and secure from criminal violence. In a little less than two years on the job, Trump has ushered in a new golden age of security and safety in the country.
