Fox News personality Kat Timpf is expecting her second child, more than a year after undergoing a double mastectomy following a breast cancer diagnosis.
The 37-year-old “Gutfeld!” panelist revealed the news during a stand-up comedy set, surprising the crowd by opening her jacket to show off her baby bump.
“Are you guys surprised?” Timpf asked. “So was I.”
She quickly turned the announcement into a joke about her husband, Cameron Friscia, a military veteran.
“I shouldn’t have been, though, because I’m married to a veteran, and the Army always does seem to take a while to pull out of something,” she joked. “What he said would be a quick little excursion is looking more like an 18-year commitment.”
Timpf then joked that her upcoming birthday gift request was less about presents and more about making sure there would not be a third pregnancy surprise.
“My birthday is coming up next month, and I told him, I said, ‘Babe, you don’t even have to get me anything. Better yet, get yourself something. A vasectomy. I’ve had enough surgery. It’s someone else’s f—ing turn.’ ”
She later shared the announcement on Instagram and thanked fans who had attended her recent shows for keeping the pregnancy under wraps.
“Huge thanks to the 1,500ish besties at my shows this wknd for keeping my secret,
The pregnancy comes after a difficult stretch for Timpf and her family.
She previously revealed that she first noticed something unusual just weeks before giving birth to her first child, a son, in February 2025.
“I noticed a bump on my nipple and I didn’t really think that much of it because your boobs start to look crazy when you’re pregnant,” she shared with PEOPLE.
She showed the bump to her doctor, who sent her for additional testing.

“I showed my doctor, not expecting anything. She kind of jumped back and sent me to go get an ultrasound… and then they recommended I get a biopsy,” the comedian said.
Timpf was diagnosed with stage zero breast cancer, also known as ductal carcinoma in situ, or DCIS.
The diagnosis came just hours before she went into labor.
“I was completely in shock. I kind of blacked out because I wasn’t able to process what was happening. And then I went into labor that night,” she recalled.
She and Friscia welcomed their son about 15 hours later.
Because the cancer was caught early, Timpf was given a choice between a lumpectomy with additional treatment or a double mastectomy.
She chose the more aggressive surgical option.

“It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do — but it was an easy decision,” she admitted.
Timpf underwent the double mastectomy roughly a month after giving birth.
“I got the mastectomy roughly a month after I gave birth,” she said. “So that meant the first six weeks of my son’s life, I wasn’t sure exactly what my prognosis was.”
She has also spoken openly about the emotional toll of losing her breasts while adjusting to life as a new mother.
“It’s scary, but it’s empowering,” she continued. “Losing your breasts forever is devastating, especially when you just gave birth and everyone asks you about breastfeeding. It’s heartbreaking. But I keep reminding myself that I chose this over the alternative. Because the alternative would’ve been much worse for me.”
Timpf returned to Fox News this month alongside her sister, Julia, who plans to run the New York City Marathon to raise money for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
During the appearance, Timpf acknowledged the emotional difficulty of going through another pregnancy after her surgery.
“It’s very exciting, but obviously a very, very difficult thing for our family,” she said. “It is very difficult to be going through this second pregnancy without my breasts.”
She said her sister’s fundraising effort has helped turn a painful chapter into something positive.
“This is why this is so great that Julia’s doing this,” Timpf continued. “If we’re able to raise money because this happened, then it’s not just a negative thing anymore. It’s a positive thing, giving us the opportunity to help other women and other families.”
And, true to form, she ended on a lighter note.
“Also, I don’t have to do any running,” she teased.
