New York Gov. Kathy Hochul BLASTED After Wearing Hijab While Speaking to Muslim Men

On Friday, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul donned a hijab to speak to a group of Muslim men at the Islamic Center of New York.

Because, apparently, bending the knee to Muslims is more important to liberal women than the radical feminism they otherwise shove in our faces.

A video of Gov. Hochul wearing the Islamic head covering at the Muslim event is stirring the pot on social media.

Who would have thought that nearly 25 years after the 9/11 terror attacks the Governor of New York would be voluntarily donning a hijab?

The timing is uncanny.

Gov. Hochul is getting dragged over the coals on social media for this stunt – and, she deserves it.

Not only is it incredibly telling about the Democrats’ complete capitulation to Muslims (less than two weeks away from 9/11, by the way) but, it doesn’t exactly line up with the “female liberation” that they preach.

Rep. Brandon Gill mocked Gov. Hochul by pointing out this inconsistency:

This is not the first time that Gov. Hochul has felt compelled to cover her hair while in the presence of Muslims.

Last year, she notoriously wore a hijab to the funeral of a fallen Muslim NYPD officer.

Gov. Hochul isn’t the only Democrat woman to put on the oppressive head covering, which is a sign of female submission in Islam.

Red State noted:

The Democrat Party is obsessed with optics. As we have seen throughout the Trump era, if there is anything that it has stood for, it’s opposition to Donald Trump, and indeed, America itself.

We should not be so quick to dismiss New York Gov. Hochul’s adoption of a hijab as a mere case of political pandering.

The Democrat Party has gone out of its way to virtue-signal on behalf of Islamists. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), and Minnesota Lt. Gov. Penny Flanagan have all embraced the head covering.

If there is anything that the modern left supports, it’s political power.

And as radical Democrats embrace Islamist politicians like New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, and Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, we have to ask ourselves if there is any principle they won’t sell out in order to get it.
