This is Smith’s first live testimony before upper chamber Republicans. Judiciary Republicans are hearing from Smith as part of their review into the previous investigations into President Donald Trump.
They are expected to question Smith about his investigations into Trump, the Arctic Frost investigation, and Smith’s principal deputy prosecutor, J.P. Cooney.
