BREAKING UPDATE: Federal law enforcement just raided a mansion in Beverly Hills connected to the Eric Swalwell investigation

Video shows the raid outside the home. Swalwell already resigned from Congress and dropped out of the California governor’s race after multiple sexual misconduct accusations.

Former DOJ prosecutor Jim Trusty: Digital is king. They’re going after computers, phones, and communications, not just a gun or cash. They already took his phone once at SFO. This is a follow-up.

Big question: Why is this FEDERAL? The accusations involving other women are typically state cases. Is it pure sexual offenses, or obstruction/false statements from the congressional probe?

Trusty notes going overt usually means it’s getting closer — possible charges or a search warrant affidavit soon.

Even he was surprised by the federal angle. Fang Fang (Chinese agent whose parents were in espionage) was 11 years ago and he largely skated. This appears tied to newer accusations.

A lot of unanswered questions.

According to a report from the Gateway Pundit, “The walls continue to close in on disgraced former Congressman Eric Swalwell as a brand new raid has been conducted.”

The home apparently belongs to billionaire Stephen Cloobeck, who supported Swalwell’s bid for governor and allowed him to live there, the report said.

Cloobeck has disassociated himself from Swalwell, confirming, “I am no longer associated with a man that takes advantage of women.”

WorldNetDaily reported in August when the FBI confronted the Democrat Swalwell when he stepped off a plane in San Francisco Airport and seized his electronic devices.

That included his cell phone.

They then entered his Washington, D.C., home and took additional “undisclosed potential evidence,” the report said.

Swalwell’s name repeatedly has prominently been connected to the false allegations Democrats in Congress used against President Donald Trump in their failed impeachment schemes during and after his first term in the White House.

Four women, including a former staff member, have leveled allegations of sexual misconcudt.

“The Department of Justice launched its investigation into the disgraced former congressman in April.
Swalwell, 45, was also being investigated by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department,” the report said.
