Could Nicki Minaj become the next White House press secretary?
It’s not out of the question!
Before her appearance at President Trump’s rally on Sunday, White House communications director Steven Cheung posted a short video interview with the rap superstar.
In the caption on that clip, he teased,
“I think we may have found the new White House Press Secretary!”
See for yourself:
Ladies and gentlemen, I think we may have found the new White House Press Secretary!

Nicki Minaj herself responded to Cheung’s post with a few emojis:

Now, of course, the White House likes to kid around, and this is
most likely a joke…
But, who knows?
Stranger things have happened.
Truly, Nicki Minaj is just as qualified as anyone.
She is a staunch Trump supporter and patriot who has proven herself as a great speaker — and, quite frankly, would handle the press well!
Right now, Nicki Minaj’s odds of becoming Press Secretary are going up on prediction markets:

As you may know, the White House Press Secretary role is currently open again after Karoline Leavitt’s replacement Katie Zacharia resigned after less than a week on the job.
The Washington Examiner has more:
The White House is in need of a new press secretary after the resignation of Karoline Leavitt, who left the role to support her family. The position was briefly filled by Katie Zacharia, who was ousted in less than a week on the job. The briefing concluded after 14 minutes, with only a few reporters’ questions taken.
Zacharia’s rocky debut during a press briefing led to immediate criticism, as well as probes into her legal background. She has referred to herself as an attorney, but reports alleged she never passed the bar exam, a requirement to be sworn in.
A GOP strategist told the Washington Examiner that Zacharia was becoming “a distraction.”
Minaj has become an ally to the president, and is expected to appear alongside Trump in Michigan during a rally as the midterm elections approach. There’s been no official announcement on a new White House press secretary.
What do you think?
Would you support Nicki Minaj as White House Press Secretary?
Who do you think is the best candidate to fulfill the role?
