MUST-SEE: Sparks Fly As Rogers Exposes El-Sayed’s Chilling Link To Pro-Terror Org

Michigan’s high-stakes Senate race erupted into a political slugfest Thursday as Republican Mike Rogers hammered Democrat Abdul El-Sayed over alleged connections to individuals and organizations linked to terrorism, turning an already heated debate into an all-out brawl.

Rogers, a former FBI agent and House Intelligence Committee chairman, confronted his far-left opponent over campaign donors and family associations with organizations accused of supporting terrorist groups, including Hamas and al-Qaeda.

Among the most explosive revelations was El-Sayed’s mother’s past employment with the Islamic American Relief Agency, an organization the U.S. Treasury Department designated in 2004 for supporting terrorism, including financial assistance to Osama bin Laden.

El-Sayed’s mother reportedly worked for the organization from 1999 to 2004. However, there is no evidence that she participated in terrorist financing or committed any crime.

Rogers also questioned contributions connected to individuals accused of sympathizing with extremist organizations. Those allegations remain disputed, and receiving donations from controversial individuals does not establish involvement in terrorism.

The confrontation unfolded during the candidates’ first debate in Grand Rapids, where the battle for retiring Democratic Sen. Gary Peters’ seat quickly turned personal.

Rogers repeatedly portrayed El-Sayed, who enjoys support from socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders and progressive Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, as a radical candidate whose expensive proposals would punish Michigan taxpayers.

“Listen to this guy and what he’s trying to sell here today. You’re going to find out that this guy is not what he says he is. He is actually selling the best con I think I’ve ever seen.”

The Republican particularly targeted El-Sayed’s Medicare for All proposal, warning that eliminating private insurance options and expanding government spending could create financial headaches for working families.

“It is a disaster,” Rogers said. “We cannot afford Abdul.”

Another explosive exchange centered on the Middle East, where Abdul El-Sayed once again refused to directly answer whether Iran or Israel represents the greater threat to American national security.

“I’m just going to say that that’s a ridiculous hypothetical, because here’s what’s happening right now: Our ostensible ally in Israel has lobbied us to go to war with Iran,” El-Sayed responded.

The Democrat continued criticizing America’s involvement in the conflict, arguing that federal resources should instead be directed toward domestic priorities.

Rogers, meanwhile, defended America’s relationship with Israel while pressing his opponent over his reluctance to take a clearer position on Iran.

The candidates also clashed over President Donald Trump‘s tariffs, rising gas prices and immigration enforcement.

El-Sayed, who has called for abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement, accused Rogers of changing his positions to improve his election prospects.

Rogers countered that negotiations with Canada were necessary to protect Michigan businesses and secure better trade arrangements.

The exchanges became so combative that moderator Rick Albin struggled to maintain control.

“I’d like to be a part of the debate, too,” Albin interjected.

With Republicans hoping to capture their first Michigan Senate victory since 1994, Mike Rogers is making El-Sayed’s progressive record and controversial associations central issues in the race.

And after Thursday’s fireworks, the Democrat’s campaign faces another round of uncomfortable questions about the company his supporters keep.
