President Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai, recently enrolled in college at the University of Miami.
Unsurprisingly, the transition has had a few bumps along the way, and she recently addressed some of her freshman struggles in a post that received significant engagement.
According to Page Six:
Vanessa Trump and Donald Trump Jr.’s daughter Kai is “struggling” as she starts her freshman year at the University of Miami.

The 18-year-old documented her final days in Jupiter, Florida, before moving to Miami in a YouTube vlog, posted over the weekend.

The aspiring pro golfer kicked off Saturday’s video with footage of herself crying behind the wheel as she prepared to say goodbye to her loved ones.

“I’m not a very emotional person at all, so this is like really weird for me to cry,” Kai said, noting that she has “only cried a few times” in her life.

“I think knowing that I have to say goodbye to everyone tonight really, really sucks,” President Donald Trump’s granddaughter continued. “I’m struggling right now, just thinking about it.”

However, Kai, who will be an hour and a half away from her family, expressed excitement over this “next chapter.”

Her post received significant engagement:

The Daily Mail added these details:

Kai explained that she didn’t really film much of her first day of college, as she was too ‘sad’ after saying goodbye to her family.

The 19-year-old went on to show what the first week was like, as she ran from golf practice to athletic meetings to class.

At one point, her friend Emma came to visit her at her apartment, and she brought Kai tons of frozen food, as the teen claimed that she ‘hadn’t eaten in three days.’
