A longer-form video – slated to be released on YouTube Saturday – includes Kai sitting down with Trump and Dr. Nicole Saphier to discuss her “mom’s journey with breast cancer and learn more about prevention and early detection.”
Trump announced her breast cancer diagnosis on May 20 on Instagram.
“I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer,” she wrote. “While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan.”
“I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me,” she wrote, adding that she is “staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me.”
Trump’s social media post at the time was flooded with well wishes, including one from President Trump’s eldest daughter, Ivanka.
“Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama,” Ivanka wrote, while half-sister Tiffany liked Trump’s post.
Trump was married to Don Jr. from 2005 to 2018 and the couple share five children: Kai; Donald, 17; Tristan, 14; Spencer, 13; and Chloe, 11.
In March 2025, she announced her new relationship with golf icon Tiger Woods.
A source exclusively told Page Six in May that Woods, 50, had “been very supportive of Vanessa through all this and is really just focused on being there for her.”
“He’s proud of how positive she’s stayed and how she’s handling everything so far,” the source said.
“She’s been so strong and he truly believes she’s going to be okay,” they said, adding “He’s just trying to support her however he can right now.”
Her cancer diagnosis was announced just days after the couple were spotted attending Kai’s high school graduation in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, alongside several members of the Trump family.
