For the record, Patrick Clancy was never a suspect in the investigation.

In case you aren’t familiar with the details of the case, Lindsay Clancy strangled her and Patrick’s three kids to death in the basement of their home back in January 2023.

Patrick had briefly stepped out of the house to pick up dinner and some medication for their daughter, Cora.

When he returned home, he found Lindsay injured in the snow outside after she jumped from a second-story window and all three of his beloved children dead inside.

What Patrick went through is just unimaginable.

As if he hasn’t already suffered enough, this man has been the subject of a disgusting smear campaign ever since his ex-wife’s trial began.

But now, Patrick Clancy’s legal team has sent out a warning to these so-called “influencers” defaming a father who lost his three kids in the worst way possible.

CBS News shared the full statement from Patrick Clancy’s lawyer Howard Cooper:

A key issue in the case is whether Clancy was criminally responsible for the murders or if she was too mentally ill to understand right from wrong.

Despite that, Patrick Clancy’s attorney said his client “has been subject to an escalating campaign of misinformation and defamatory statements.”

Cooper issued this statement, threatening legal action against the conspiracy theorists.

Over the past months, Patrick Clancy and his family have been subjected to a relentless, escalating and destructive defamation campaign. This campaign of misinformation has been launched and promoted by minor celebrities, so-called influencers and outright conspiracy theorists who appear intent on boosting their own social media profiles and potential profit by publishing what they know to be outright falsehoods that Patrick was somehow involved in the death of his young children and other vile claims.

This campaign, now fueled by insatiable media coverage, remains at a fever pitch and has resulted in real life threats to his reputation, livelihood, and life. Patrick has no choice but to address this situation – with the clear goal of stopping injurious behavior, creating accountability for lies that are self-serving to the perpetrators, and being able to return his attention to what matters: preserving the memory of Cora, Dawson and Callan Clancy and supporting other women facing perinatal mental health challenges.

Enough is enough — this spread of blatant and baseless falsehoods must stop. Those responsible should understand that there will be consequences, and every appropriate measure will be pursued to hold them accountable, including legally. Law enforcement has been notified.

CBS News legal analyst Caroline Polisi said the statement is essentially a “cease and desist letter” and it may be an indicator that Patrick Clancy plans to formally litigate this issue on a civil level if it continues.

Fox News covered the latest development further in this clip:

Bear in mind that Lindsay Clancy admitted to killing their children.

Nobody is arguing that she was not the murderer. That isn’t even up for debate in the case.

And yet, a pack of crazy liberal women on TikTok are spreading lies that Patrick Clancy was somehow involved with his kids’ horrific deaths.

On X, Collin Rugg shared a compilation of these sick types of videos:

NEW: Patrick Clancy’s attorneys say they are pursuing legal action against TikTok influencers who are accusing Patrick of murdering his three kids.

Howard Cooper, an attorney at Todd & Weld, says they have also notified law enforcement.

If you ask me, the Lindsay Clancy case is cut-and-dry murder.

She is guilty, and she should spend the rest of her life in jail.

But, even if you want to argue that the murders were not premeditated and she is not guilty by reason of insanity because she was experiencing postpartum psychosis, then stick with that.

Don’t drag in the father and start slandering an innocent man who found his own children’s dead bodies after they were strangled to death by their own mother.

How cruel can you be?

Many patriots on X are encouraging Patrick to pursue legal action against every single person who pushed these vile lies:

Good – he should do it. https://t.co/3yEzkKnIQz

I hope he bankrupts them. I want to see some of the countless engagement-baiting conspiratards online these days suffer consequences for their actions. https://t.co/Vaiam8XbF7

I would like to see him retire from suing the living daylights out of these histrionic harpies. https://t.co/249CYAnD6b

And he very much should.

It is crystal clear that Lindsey deliberately assassinated her kids.

Feminists can’t cope with the fact that bad women do exist. https://t.co/qjw7qOthrL
