Virtually all of the major banking corporations across America, during Joe Biden’s administration, “targeted Christian organizations” with their debanking agenda based on those groups’ views on abortion, LGBT ideology and traditional family values.

That’s according to a report at LifeNews that cited documentation released by the Comptroller of the Currency.

“The Biden admin was exposed in 2024 trying to debank pro-life, conservative and Christian groups and endorsed a list of ‘hate groups’ that includes mainstream conservative Christian organizations like Alliance Defending Freedom and the Family Research Council,” the report confirmed.

Now the evidence is coming from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency’s report, “Guaranteeing Fair Banking for All Americans.”

Nearly 10,000 complaints were reviewed, tens of thousands of internal records investigated, during the 2020-2025 time period for operations at JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Citibank, Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank, Capital One, PNC, TD Bank, and BMO Bank.

“It found policies that denied or limited access based on political, religious, or social views, citing ‘reputation risk’ from the Biden administration, negative press, protests, leftist advocacy groups such as the Southern Poverty Law Center, and potential regulatory pressure. The banks specifically targeted Christian organizations over abortion, LGBTQ issues, and traditional family values,” the report confirmed.

The OCC’s supervisory review of debanking activities at the nine largest national banks it supervises found that these banks had policies that required, encouraged, or otherwise influenced banks to deny or limit access to financial services to Americans because of their political or religious beliefs or affiliations or their lawful business activities. For instance: “Wells Fargo pressured a payment processor to end service to a religious nonprofit over its views on same-sex marriage.”

Comptroller of the Currency Jonathan V. Gould said the findings provided “irrefutable evidence that the nation’s largest banks have denied, debanked and discriminated against customers and lawful businesses.”

Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Acting Director Mark Paoletta told LifeNews, “It is appalling that these banks targeted American consumers for their political, social, or religious beliefs that did not align with the Biden administration or its leftist allies. Many of those targeted were supporters of President Trump. These thuggish tactics… have no place in America.”

A report from the New York Post noted the banks’ agendas were pushed by “negative press, protests, criticism from advocacy groups such as the Southern Poverty Law Center, and reprisals from regulators or politicians.”

It reported, too, “The banks also restricted financing for ‘disfavored’ industries such as firearms makers and retailers, Arctic oil and gas, coal, detention facilities, tobacco and e-cigarettes.”

It cited the JPMorgan Chase’s payment operation, WePay, “closing the account of a merchant that sold merchandise promoting President Trump and the Make America Great Again (MAGA) brand, claiming it ‘promote[d] hate, violence, or racial intolerance.'”

The Post also noted the banks’ reliance on the Southern Poverty Law Center, which just months ago was indicted on federal fraud and money-laundering charges, with prosecutors alleging it defrauded donors of millions of dollars.

“Although all nine banks told the OCC they had revised their practices, the regulator said the reforms have not gone far enough and that no bank had ‘fully and publicly acknowledged’ its ‘weaponization of finance against hardworking Americans,'” the Post confirmed.

Further, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau announced an investigation into the banks Wednesday and pledged to address any consumer harm caused by the debanking practices described in the report.
