The Lindsay Clancy trial may be over, but the insanity around the case certainly isn’t.
Clancy’s defense attorney Kevin Reddington is now going on a media tour to try to garner more sympathy for the mother who strangled her three young children to death and talk about what’s next for the case.
During an appearance on
Good Morning America, Reddington made a public appeal to President Trump, asking him to pardon Lindsay Clancy.
Yes, really.

Trump CLEARLY said Clancy did a “horrible thing” and must face “consequences”
It’s also a STATE case, not federal. A pardon would be merely symnolic

They were killed by the person that was supposed to love and protect them the most in this world — their very own mother.
And yet, this guy wants the president of the United States to pardon
her?
Where is the justice?
By the way, President Trump has already weighed in on the Lindsay Clancy case.
He was asked for his thoughts after the first trial ended in a mistrial following an 11-1 jury deadlock.

There’s no chance that President Trump would ever issue a pardon to someone as evil as a mother who murdered her three babies.
But, even
if President Trump wanted to pardon Lindsay Clancy, he couldn’t because she is facing state charges, not federal.
NBC News noted:
The request in the wide-ranging interview about the high-profile case was unusual, considering the president can only pardon federal crimes. On Friday, Trump weighed in on the mistrial and said he had been following the case.
Reddington did not immediately respond to NBC News’ requests for comment.
When asked for comment, a White House official said presidential pardons apply only to federal convictions.
Clancy was charged in the strangulation deaths of her three children — Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months old — at their Massachusetts home in January 2023. She had thrown herself out of her bedroom window in a suicide attempt that left her paralyzed.
Throughout the trial, Reddington argued that Clancy was in the throes of postpartum psychosis and acted on auditory hallucinations that compelled her to carry out the killings. Prosecutors, however, said that Clancy was aware of her actions and planned out the killings ahead of time.
After 38 hours of deliberations, the jury could not come to a unanimous agreement. The judge officially declared a mistrial after Reddington’s last-minute effort for an emergency stay on the decision.
After his GMA appearance, Kevin Reddington did an interview with CBS Boston’s Kristina Rex, who pointed out that fact to him.

I have to say: I really don’t think I’ve ever seen a more delusional lawyer than Kevin Reddington.

Reddington really has no limits. First defend her, then attack the lone juror, and now ask President Trump for a pardon. Absolutely ridiculous. At some point, shouldn’t the three children who lost their lives matter more than the person who killed them?
