It is well known that the Left controls the spheres of influence in this country, and in doing so, maintains a vice-like grip on the nation’s culture. Through television programming, music lyrics, popular streaming series, or the silver screen, contemporary entertainment is rife with left-wing sociocultural messaging and propaganda. Whether it’s agenda-driven casting choices in the summer blockbuster The Odyssey (or oDEIssey, as I called it) or characters in Ted Lasso making regular snide anti-Trump remarks, conservative Republican values do not have any meaningful presence in most entertainment products today. This absence has come at a political cost.
An adage suggests, “Let me write the songs of a nation, and I care not who makes its laws.” It’s a powerful statement that highlights the importance of a society’s culture and the enormous influence it has on its laws. The saying is attributed to Andrew Fletcher, a famous Scottish writer and politician in the early 18th century. And despite being said over 300 years ago in 1703, it is perfectly applicable to the United States society in 2026.
Culture is vital in politics. It’s a realization that many Republicans have taken a long time to recognize, and the delay has been costly. As a result, it’s created much of the left-wing mess we are dealing with today.

“I was just in Hollywood yesterday, and the stages on the studio lots are empty,” veteran actor and comedian Rob Schneider told the Washington Examiner. “Most of Hollywood is empty, and it’s a direct reflection on making content that is no longer entertainment-based but an attempt to indoctrinate the public with leftist garbage that the public is tired of having thrown in their face.”
“The politics of Leftist Hollywood is anti-American and a degradation of what made the United States the freest, most powerful, and richest nation the world has ever known,” Schneider added.
But what if conservatives and Republicans tried to take back the culture? What if I told you there was already a massive effort underway to do so?
Another adage suggests to “be the change you want to see in the world.” Well, Real America’s Voice is striving to be that change, expanding on its existing format of political talk shows by adding an entertainment aspect to its portfolio.
Unlike other political channels, Real America’s Voice wants to deliver a conservative, Republican entertainment experience. Think Hollywood, but done the right way by the conservative, Republican Right. On the docket of entertainment options are reality television shows, lifestyle programming, and music. The network’s executives revealed in an earlier interview that they even hope to make romance great again, diving into the reality dating show genre.
“We’ve spent more than 30 years in the broadcast business, so we’ve always understood the power of media,” Parker Sigg, vice president of Real America’s Voice. “But what really opened our eyes to the need for something like Real America’s Music was watching culture become one of the most powerful forces shaping how people, especially young people, see themselves, their country, and the world around them.”
Their foray into pop culture includes the catchy song “TDS” released earlier this year by Christian musical artist Natasha Owens, as the Washington Examiner previously reported. The title is an acronym for “Trump derangement syndrome,” often used to describe the irrational hatred and unhinged antics of political rivals and opponents of President Donald Trump.
“You got that T.D.S.,” reads the song’s lyrics. “You’ve tested positive. There’s nothing I can do, for chronic low IQ, it’s T.D.S.”
Generations of Americans have been indoctrinated through numerous cultural institutions to embrace, accept, and promote left-wing social, cultural, and political ideals and values. It’s led to a sizable portion of the population being ardent supporters of socialism, communism, and other ideologies that run counter to the sacrosanct principles of our nation, created by our Founding Fathers.
Real America’s Voice will make a substantial investment in its entertainment venture, with the goal of changing the television and entertainment landscape as we currently know it. At present, it’s had several songs chart on the Billboard list, including another song by Owens, “We Miss You, Charlie,” which pays homage to slain conservative political activist Charlie Kirk.”
“Culture shapes America, and conservatives have ceded that battlefield for far too long,” LJ Fino, president of Real America’s Music, told the Washington Examiner. “The Left understood that whoever controls music, television, film, and entertainment has enormous influence over the next generation. We decided it was time to stop complaining about it and start building. RAV and RAM are about creating great entertainment rooted in faith, family, freedom, and America.”
Incidentally, RAV executives cite Trump as an inspiration for their efforts to try to take back the culture from the Left. It’s arguably in its infancy, and the Left has had a decadeslong head start, but RAV is dedicated to redefining the country’s entertainment landscape.
“President Trump demonstrated just how closely politics and culture had become intertwined,” said Sigg. ‘It reinforced something we already believed. If you want to have an impact on the direction of the country, you cannot limit yourself to traditional political media. Culture matters, and if you want to help shape culture, you have to be willing to create it.”
“We knew from our experience with the RAV audience that there was a large, passionate, and underserved community looking for entertainment that reflected their values,” he added. “That was the moment it became clear to us that we shouldn’t just talk about the cultural landscape. We needed to build something within it. That’s really where Real America’s Music came from.”

For generations, conservatives, Republicans, and those on the Right essentially surrendered the culture to the liberals, Democrats, socialists, and communists. It’s refreshing to see a coordinated and dedicated effort to try to reverse the Left’s monopoly on the entertainment industrial complex in this country.
It’s about time.
