In Maine, a crazy left-wing moron has been arrested after a violent altercation with a conservative reporter.
On Thursday, footage captured the insane moment the suspect (allegedly) attempted to run over a journalist for
The Maine Wire.
Prior to this, the man had driven up in his car to confront the reporter, whose name is Joe Sokol, for being on public property at the Bangor Comprehensive Treatment Center.
After leaving, he showed up again moments later and appeared to try to strike Sokol with his car.
Watch what happened for yourself in this clip:

The Maine Wire provided more details in this update:
The Bangor Police Department arrested Ryan Hayward, 38, of Bangor on Friday after he allegedly attempted to run over Maine Wire reporter Joe Sokol as he was investigating the Bangor Comprehensive Treatment Center from public property.
Police did not specify where or when the arrest took place, but it came in response to an incident on Odlin Road on Thursday morning.
Sokol was standing on public property when, at approximately 7:58 a.m., Hayward approached him and began speaking with him.
After a brief conversation, he allegedly drove off the road onto the grass where Sokol was standing with the apparent intent to strike him with his vehicle.
Sokol was uninjured, but video shows the suspect’s vehicle allegedly striking his camera equipment.
Police launched an investigation and arrested Hayward on charges of reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, driving to endanger, and violating conditions of release.
Police are investigating the incident, and Hayward has denied that he was trying to murder Sokol.
Good luck trying to prove that with the video evidence!
Maine Sen. Susan Collins has released a statement.
Per
News Center Maine:
U.S. Sen. Susan Collins called and talked to Sokol, according to her office.
In a statement, Collins said, “What happened to Joe was appalling. Journalists should never be attacked for doing their jobs. Violence has no place in our country, or our politics.”
