It shouldn’t take a genius to realize that more deportations equals lower housing costs for U.S. citizens.
According to new data published by the Department of Homeland Security, that’s exactly what’s happening.
In cities like San Antonio, TX and Miami, FL — which had huge immigration operations — the price of rent has significantly declined.
In a post on X, the DHS dove into the details:
It makes a lot of sense, doesn’t it?
These statistics are the result of basic supply-and-demand principles.
Deporting hundreds of thousands of illegals reduces the amount of competition in the housing market, thus making rent cheaper for the American people.

Liberals who have been complaining about the ongoing “affordability crisis” in America should be celebrating!
It’s a no-brainer. The way to tackle high cost-of-living is through deportations, which the Trump administration has been ramping up in cities across the U.S.
But, of course, that doesn’t fit the Democrat narrative (because they rely on illegal immigrants to win elections), so you’ll never hear them praise ICE.
On the contrary, patriots on X appear happy with the results of the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown, so far.
