One of the most popular names in country music, Zach Bryan, has gone full woke.
On Friday night, the country music star took the stage at Gillette Stadium wearing a shirt that said “FREE PALESTINE.”
His bandmates also wore shirts supporting Palestine.
See for yourself:

Tonight at Gillette Stadium, Zach Bryan, one of the biggest country music artists in the world, wore a Free Palestine shirt onstage.
Gillette Stadium is owned by Robert Kraft, who pushed Ed Sheeran and his promoter to drop Macklemore from his tour.
Bryan isn’t just a major country artist.
He is one of the biggest live draws in music, filling stadiums across the United States and in major cities around the world.
Bryan served eight years on active duty in the US Navy and served overseas in Bahrain and Djibouti.
Members of Bryan’s band also wore shirts supporting the Palestinian cause, including his drummer, who wore a jersey honoring the memory of Hind Rajab.
Zach Bryan has a second show at Gillette Stadium tomorrow, Saturday night.
Bryan’s stunt appears to be in defiance of Gillette Stadium owner Robert Kraft’s recent decision to ban rapper Macklemore from the venue after he went on an anti-Israel rant during a performance on Ed Sheeran’s tour.
Fox News provided some additional context:
The controversy comes amid the fallout surrounding Macklemore, who was dropped from the remaining U.S. dates of Ed Sheeran’s tour after his politically charged performance at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Sheeran later said removing Macklemore was not his decision and that he had spent the week trying to resolve the dispute, including speaking with Kraft.
On Sept. 4, Macklemore performed his song “Hind’s Hall” while repeatedly chanting “Free Palestine” as images from the war in Gaza played behind him.
His performance garnered backlash, and the rapper later defended the performance on social media, writing, “Wanting all humans to be treated equal should never be controversial.”
He subsequently announced a new concert run dubbed the “Free Palestine Tour.”
Kraft, whose company owns Gillette Stadium, had previously taken issue with Macklemore’s comments, saying in part, “Gillette Stadium has a longstanding commitment to providing a welcoming environment for all guests and ensuring that events held at our venue do not provide a platform for hate speech.”
He also stated, “Based on Macklemore’s recent actions, material shared from the stage during Ed Sheeran’s shows in New Jersey, and a broader history of antisemitic rhetoric and imagery that we believe has been deeply offensive and hurtful to the Jewish community, we determined that his participation in the September 25th and 26th concerts at Gillette Stadium would cross that line.”
Fox News also shared a clip of Bryan taking the stage at Gillette Stadium wearing the controversial shirt:

Zach Bryan takes the stage at Robert Kraft’s Gillette Stadium wearing a “Free Palestine” shirt, putting the same message at the center of another high-profile concert moment.
The country star wore the shirt during his Friday night stop in Foxborough, just weeks after Kraft confirmed he did not want Macklemore performing at Gillette Stadium following the rapper’s pro-Palestinian remarks during Ed Sheeran’s tour.
Macklemore had shouted “Free Palestine” at MetLife Stadium before he was later dropped from Sheeran’s tour. Sheeran said the decision came from the promoter and venues, not him.
Zach Bryan is a U.S. Navy veteran himself, and his base is full of solid American patriots.
Many fans are upset that he decided to use his performance at Gillette Stadium for political messaging.
For instance, take this guy:
Drove 6 hours to
@GilletteStadium to see Zach Bryan and his band members walk out in a free Palestine tshirt. **** this bullshit.

Here are some other responses from folks online:
People do not pay to see you talk politics. You are to sing. You a professional singer, so sing and shut up on politics. You are not the expert

Actors and singers who meddle in politics are either stupid or brainwashed. There is no third…

However, this isn’t the first time that Zach Bryan has expressed woke, left-wing views.
Previously, he released a song titled
‘Bad News’ in which he railed against ICE agents.
Here are some of the lyrics:
My friends are all degenerates but they’re all I got
The generational story of dropping the plot
I heard the cops came, cocky mother fuckers ain’t they
And ICE is gonna come bust down your door
Tried to build a house no one builds no more, but I got a telephone
Kids are all scared and all alone
The boss stopped bumping, the rock stopped rolling
My middle fingers rising and it won’t stop showing
Got some bad news, fading of our red, white, and blue
This lands your land, this lands mine, too
Is this all true man, or is it just bad news
What do you think?
Is Zach Bryan going to regret going woke and turning against his fanbase?
