President Trump and Vice President JD Vance are sharing their thoughts on the upcoming execution of Fort Hood jihadist terrorist Nidal Hasan, who has been sentenced to death by firing squad.
Yesterday, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced plans to make the execution public, likely through livestream.
Today, reporters asked President Trump for his thoughts on Hegseth’s plan.
In response, President Trump clarified that it’s yet to be decided whether or not to televise the execution.
That said, he also confirmed that either way, the firing squad is happening and justice will be served.
Watch what President Trump had to say for yourself:

But the firing squad is DEFINITELY happening no matter what.

But the firing squad is DEFINITELY happening no matter what.
“We’ll make a determination, but he WILL be killed through firing squad. He killed 13, 14 people!”
“He’s TOTALLY NUTS. I really don’t care HOW he goes, as long as he goes.”
Pete Hegseth wants it public, JD Vance said today he won’t watch
Regardless, IT IS HAPPENING.
December 3rd — justice
Vice President JD Vance was also asked about the prospect of televising the execution of Hasan, who killed 13 people and wounded many others at Fort Hood in 2009.
While Vance agreed that Hasan should be put to death, he cast doubt on whether the execution will be public. If it is, Vance says he won’t personally be watching.

JUST IN: VP JD Vance announces he is NOT watching the livestreamed firing squad execution of Fort Hood Islamist terrorist Nidal Hasan — if such livestream actually happens
"Don't forget he brutally m*rdered innocent people."
"If it's livestreamed, I'm not gonna be watching…

Hasan has been sitting on death row since 2013. His execution is set for December 3rd
The victims’ families have waited 17 YEARS for this. Firing squad is long overdue.
Justice is finally here
Hasan’s execution by firing squad is scheduled to take place on December 3rd. Poetically, it will happen at Fort Hood, the site of the terrorist attack.
Hegseth’s plans to make the execution public have proven divisive among conservatives — especially among Catholics, like Vice President JD Vance.
Politico noted:
Hegseth has defended the decision to make the execution public, arguing that Americans should be able to watch because they need to understand that there are “serious consequences” for such crimes.
But the proposal has drawn sharp criticism from both parties, along with some religious figures, who have objected to turning the execution into a public spectacle.
Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), one of the most vocal GOP critics of Hegseth’s management of the Pentagon, ripped the effort as “beyond disgusting” on Thursday. “Public executions are what oppressive dictatorships like Iran and Afghanistan do. It should not be happening in America,” he said.
The backlash has also extended to the Catholic Church, where Archbishop Paul Coakley, the president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, condemned the plan Friday, calling it a “barbaric promotion of a culture of death” that “must be reconsidered.”
“The public execution even of one who has done grave harm will only further undermine the moral fabric of our nation and be a blight on the conscience of its people,” Coakley said in a statement.
And some conservative Christian commentators have also urged against a public execution. Conservative radio host Erick Erickson concluded a lengthy post on X citing scripture by saying, “I support the death penalty. Public executions are soul-twisting and we should not go down that road.”
Where do you stand on this?
Should Hasan’s execution be made public, or is that going too far?
