A powerful preliminary magnitude 8.0 earthquake struck Panama on Friday.
Tsunami warning was issued for 9 countries: Ecuador, Colombia, Nicaragua, Panama, Guatemala, Peru, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Mexico.
The USGS later downgraded the earthquake to a magnitude 7.7.
There are no immediate reports of injuries. Some buildings have been damaged.
