The Daily Signal reported on site at Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar’s Washington, D.C., home, which was raided by federal agents on Monday morning.
The raid was part of an ongoing federal criminal immigration investigation into how Omar obtained her immigration status decades ago when she immigrated to the United States with her father, Nur Omar Mohamad, as a minor. One of the questions being raised is whether Omar was, in fact, a minor at the time.
The raid was conducted by Homeland Security Investigations with the assistance of the Department of Justice. It was reported that federal agents obtained Omar’s cellphone, computer, and passport.
