The thing Democrats say never happens just happened again!

On Friday, the Department of Justice announced that an illegal immigrant has been arrested for alleged voter fraud.

30-year-old Katya Rodriguez from Mexico is accused of unlawfully voting in the battleground state of Pennsylvania in the 2024 election.

Fox News obtained and shared exclusive footage of her arrest here:

ELECTION FRAUD: The DOJ just charged five individuals across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Wisconsin for illegally voting and fraudulent registration in the 2022 and 2024 elections — including two illegal immigrants and two non-citizens with legal status.

Exclusive footage obtained by Fox News Digital shows federal agents executing a sweep linked to the multi-state probe. One of those arrested, Katya Rodriguez, 30, an illegal alien from Mexico living in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, was indicted by a federal grand jury for allegedly voting in the 2024 election. She faces up to 11 years in prison.

Wow.

Any guesses who this illegal alien voted for?

Rodriguez is facing several serious charges that carry a maximum sentence of over a decade behind bars.

A DOJ press release reads:

Specifically, Rodriguez was charged with false statement of citizenship in order to vote, fraudulent registration, and voting as an alien.

“The integrity of our elections, which are fundamental to democracy, should be of utmost importance to every American,” said Attorney General Todd Blanche. “It is a cherished right for eligible American citizens, and only eligible American citizens, to vote for their representatives in government. Election fraud is a serious crime, and it is the duty of the Department of Justice to treat it as such.”

“The crime of illegal voting undermines the integrity of our elections and harms citizens by stealing the power of our votes. Illegal voting is not a victimless crime but a serious affront to the principles of our democratic republic,” said U.S. Attorney Brian D. Miller. “This office will prosecute to the full extent of the law those who illegally vote in federal elections as well as those who facilitate illegal voting.”

“Homeland Security Investigations is committed to safeguarding the integrity of our nation’s election systems and ensuring that allegations of unlawful voting, fraudulent registration, and other election-related crimes are thoroughly investigated,” said Acting Executive Associate Director John A. Condon of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). “The American people deserve confidence that our elections are protected from fraud and criminal exploitation, and that those who seek to undermine the law are held accountable. As reflected in these cases, HSI special agents worked alongside our federal partners to identify alleged criminal conduct, follow the evidence, and support prosecutions that reinforce public trust and uphold the rule of law.”

Homeland Security Investigations investigated the case. Assistant United States Attorney Scott Ford is prosecuting the case.

This case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative that marshals the full resources of the Department of Justice to repel the invasion of illegal immigration, achieve the total elimination of cartels and transnational criminal organizations (TCOs), and protect our communities from the perpetrators of violent crime.

If convicted, the maximum penalty under federal law for this offense is 11 years of imprisonment, a term of supervised release following imprisonment, and a fine. A sentence following the finding of guilt is imposed by the Judge after consideration of the applicable federal sentencing statutes and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.

Katya Rodriguez isn’t the only illegal immigrant recently indicted for unlawfully voting in U.S. elections.

Four others — including two in Pennsylvania alone — were also charged as part of the DOJ’s ongoing crackdown on election fraud.

NBC News has more details:

The woman, 30-year-old Katya Rodriguez, is among three individuals charged in the Middle District of Pennsylvania and are each facing a felony charge. A federal grand jury also indicted a husband and wife — 68-year-old Thomas Holtzman and 50-year-old Marisol Guzman — alleging that Guzman illegally voted in the 2024 election. Holtzman is an American citizen but was charged with aiding and abetting in connection with his wife’s voting, the Justice Department said. Charging documents in those cases were not available.

Two others, in New Jersey and Wisconsin, face misdemeanor “voting as an alien” charges. Mercedes Alexandra Cardoso, a lawful permanent resident from Ecuador who was living in New Jersey, allegedly voted in person during the June 2024 primary election.

Jesus Javier Jurado Garcia allegedly voted as a noncitizen in the 2022 election in Wisconsin. The Justice Department said he’s a 25-year-old originally from Mexico.

If these cases don’t prove exactly why we need federal voter ID requirements, then I don’t know what will.

Secure our elections, and hold the cheaters accountable!
