President Donald Trump on Sunday published an open letter urging the citizens of Israel to re-elect Benjamin Netanyahu, as a recent poll shows the prime minister trailing Gadi Eisenkot.

In his lengthy post on Truth Social, Trump stated: “To the Great People of Israel: Bibi Netanyahu has been a Great Warrior Prime Minister, and an even greater Partner for Peace in combatting the Islamic Republic of Iran, with its 51 year old chant, ‘Death to Israel, Death to America! We will destroy the Little Satan and the Big Satan.’

“What Country can survive when things such as this are allowed to be said, because eventually, they always end up being true? It would have been only a question of time until Iran would have put that ominous phrase into effect, but they have been systematically destroyed, both Militarily and Financially, and unless they change their ways, rapidly, we will soon finish the job.

“If Israel has the wrong Leader, which would be anyone other than Bibi, America will have to do this work ourselves, and I am not inclined to do so. Bibi Netanyahu has been Strong, Brave, and Brilliant in the face of tremendous opposition, including that coming from even Israel, itself.

“Despite all of that, he has endured and, in fact, he has thrived! I have watched Bibi under the most trying of times. Normal men or women in such situations would have wilted under the pressure – But Bibi did not wilt, he actually got stronger, and maintains that same Strength today.

“This is the kind of Partner that the United States of America is demanding of Israel, a Country for which it has done so much. Please let this Letter serve to represent my Complete and Total Endorsement of Bibi Netanyahu in his upcoming Race for Re-Election as Prime Minister of Israel. BIBI NETANYAHU WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

Netanyahu does not have an easy task in the Oct. 27 contest.

The Jewish Chronicle reports: “A new poll has found that Gadi Eisenkot is likely to be best placed to become Israel’s next prime minister less than two weeks out from the Knesset elections.

“The survey, carried out by Zman Yisrael and the Times of Israel on Thursday, suggested that Eisenkot’s Yashar party had opened up a ‘big lead’ on incumbent Prime Minister Netanyahu’s Likud.

“Were the election to be held today, it found, Yashar would win 26 seats to Likud’s 20, making it the largest party in the Knesset. Naftali Bennett’s Beyachad would come in a distant third with 11 seats, followed by Yisrael Beiteinu, led by Avigdor Lieberman, with nine.”

Meanwhile, Netanyahu reportedly fears a military campaign against Iran in the remaining time before the election could harm his chances of staying in power, sources told Maariv on Thursday.

The Jerusalem Post reports: “A message conveyed from Jerusalem to Washington in recent days indicated that Israel would prefer military action against Iran to begin after the October 27 Knesset election, the sources said.

“In private discussions, Netanyahu has raised two main considerations against launching a campaign at this stage, according to the sources: the difficulty of postponing the election and the potential toll of Iranian retaliation on Israel’s home front.

“‘These are precisely the scenes we cannot afford to see. A country in shelters, missile strikes, destroyed buildings, wounded people and, God forbid, deaths – that is what could lead to a victory for Eisenkot and his partners,’ a senior Likud official said, adding that the remarks reflect Netanyahu’s position.”

Is the news we hear every day actually broadcasting messages from God? The answer is an absolute yes! Find out how!
