Trump Issues Ominous Message To Iran After ‘Surprise Attack’ On US Forces: ‘Going To Get A Beating’

President Donald Trump vowed swift retaliation Wednesday after U.S. troops intercepted an Iranian ballistic missile attack targeting American forces in Jordan overnight.

“We’re going to beat the f—— s— out of them,” Trump told Fox News on Wednesday morning.

“We’ll be hitting them hard. They’re going to get a beating.”

Trump said U.S. forces had only minutes to react after the surprise attack and successfully shot down the incoming missiles before they reached their targets.

The president said he later watched video of the operation showing American personnel calling out missile coordinates in real time as air defense systems engaged the incoming threats.

Trump also revealed that overnight U.S.-Saudi strikes targeting Iran-backed Shiite militias in Iraq were carried out in coordination with the Iraqi government.

He blasted the militias as a “cancer on the world” and said his administration is weighing additional warnings aimed at Iranian proxy forces.

POLL: Do You Approve Of Secretary Of War Pete Hegseth?

The latest escalation comes after a brief lull in fighting between the United States and Iran.

Iran on Tuesday launched a barrage of ballistic missiles and drones at a U.S. military installation in Jordan, marking another major escalation after the collapse of a short-lived pause in hostilities.

According to U.S. Central Command, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) fired the missiles from central Iran at approximately 5:45 p.m. ET. CENTCOM said every incoming missile was intercepted before reaching its target.

Iranian state media acknowledged that multiple missiles were launched from central Iran toward Jordan. No casualties or damage were reported.

The latest attack follows a string of Iranian missile and drone strikes targeting locations in Jordan that host U.S. forces. Since a ceasefire arrangement unraveled on July 8, Iran has repeatedly targeted the key American ally, raising fears that the conflict could spiral into a broader regional war.
