This is a new low, even for the fake news media.
NBC Boston now appears to be bullying the lone holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy trial by spewing dirt about him and publicizing private details of his life.
This man, whom we learned earlier is black, has chosen to remain anonymous — unlike several of the other jurors who tried to pressure him to acquit Lindsay Clancy of murdering her three young children.
Yet, investigators have dug into his criminal records, contacted his landlord, and interviewed his family members in order to expose information about his private life.
Those details include a domestic abuse allegation by his ex-wife (which was ultimately dismissed) and a history of unpaid rent.

Court documents and interviews with family members reveal a history of domestic violence allegations. We discovered a pending eviction case tied to months of not paying rent.
The NBC10 Boston Investigators also found an active restraining order against him, while he was listening to evidence in the case.
Those details raise questions about the jury selection process and how the Plymouth County resident was picked for the high-profile case that ended in a mistrial.
NBC10 Boston has repeatedly attempted to contact the juror at home, where his landlord is currently trying to evict him.
We are not identifying him at this time because he has chosen not to speak publicly and the jury list is currently impounded. However, we wanted to share the details that experts say should have raised red flags about how he filled out his juror questionnaire.
In September of 2021, the holdout juror in the Clancy case faced a criminal charge for assaulting his wife out of Brockton District Court.
According to a police report, the juror’s 13-year-old nephew called 911 after he said his uncle grabbed his wife by the throat and threw her into a dresser.
The report says the juror’s mom repeatedly screamed, “You’re evil!” as police arrested him.
Court records show the couple divorced after the incident and the criminal charge was later dismissed.
The ex-wife told NBC10 Boston this week that she did not want to testify in the case because she was worried about losing custody of her daughter.
Last year, that same teenage nephew referenced in the 2021 incident took out a restraining order after he said the juror pushed him to the ground and repeatedly punched him in the face.
The teen wrote in his affidavit that his uncle then said, “You ruined my (expletive) life,” for calling the police and added, “You’ve had this coming your way for a long time.”
That restraining order was still active when the juror was selected for the Clancy trial and listened to evidence for weeks in the controversial case.

Yes, they are TEARING HIS PRIVATE LIFE APART for this, but have done ZERO investigating on the private lives of the OTHER jurors.
One man, after a week of deliberation, would not sign off on a verdict he didn’t believe in and that (by the way) is the WHOLE POINT of a jury.
We literally instruct jurors: do not cave.
Who is ever going to hold out EVER AGAIN???!!!!
Who’s going to risk being the one honest “no” when they know the punishment is having their entire life ripped open on the news?!!!!
They are literally attempting to DESTROY the jury system with fear.
A verdict you disagree with is not a crime and a citizen who does his duty should not have his life destroyed for it.
This is absolutely insane.
It’s interesting that they are
only doing this to the sole juror who refused to let Lindsay Clancy off the hook. Almost as if it’s punishment for not voting the way they wanted him to.
As NBC Boston admitted, the domestic violence allegations against this guy didn’t go anywhere.
Just like Lindsay Clancy and anyone else convicted of a crime in the United States of America, he is innocent until proven guilty!
It’s also notable that, under Massachusetts law, jurors are only disqualified if they have been convicted of a felony within the last seven years.
So, it wouldn’t have affected his eligibility.
While NBC Boston has noted that they are not going to release this man’s name, it still feels a whole lot like an attempt to get him doxxed.
They should be ashamed of themselves.
