Baltimore Ravens star Marlon Humphrey is set to join President Donald Trump on Tuesday as the White House rolls out a massive new shipbuilding investment in Maryland.
Humphrey, a 10-year NFL veteran who has spent his entire career with the Ravens, is expected to meet with Trump ahead of the president’s remarks at Sparrows Point in Baltimore.
The two are expected to discuss Humphrey’s charity work, along with their shared interest in football and golf.
“Marlon Humphrey is a great talent, player, and leader for the Ravens,” Trump adviser Alex Bruesewitz told The Post. “He is also widely respected in the locker room and the city of Baltimore.”
Other Ravens players are also expected to attend Trump’s appearance at Tradepoint Atlantic, a sprawling industrial and logistics complex built on the former Bethlehem Steel site.
Trump is expected to announce a $6.6 billion investment tied to Anduril Industries and a new shipbuilding facility that will produce critical components for Virginia-class submarines.
The project is expected to include roughly 2 million square feet of industrial space across 187 acres.
The investment is also expected to create thousands of jobs as the administration pushes to expand domestic shipbuilding capacity and reduce long-running production bottlenecks facing the U.S. Navy.
The Baltimore stop comes as Donald Trump continues emphasizing manufacturing, energy and blue-collar job creation ahead of the November midterm elections.
The president has recently highlighted major industrial projects across the country while arguing that rebuilding American manufacturing capacity is central to both economic and national security.
The White House has also made shipbuilding a major focus.
Trump signed a memorandum in August directing the federal government to expand competition and investment in the U.S. maritime industrial base, address Navy construction delays and establish a fifth public naval shipyard.

The administration has argued that years of delays, cost overruns and limited shipyard capacity have weakened the country’s ability to build and maintain warships at the pace required by the Navy.
Tuesday’s announcement in Baltimore is expected to fit directly into that broader push.
The new facility will focus on components for Virginia-class submarines as the Navy works to increase production and strengthen the industrial base supporting its undersea fleet.
Humphrey’s appearance gives the event a local sports connection in a city where he has spent his entire NFL career.
The former first-round pick has become one of Baltimore’s most recognizable players and a longtime leader in the Ravens locker room.
Trump’s visit also marks a relatively uncommon stop in deep-blue Maryland as the president continues a broader swing through states and districts with competitive races ahead of Election Day.
For Baltimore, the event will pair one of the city’s biggest NFL stars with the president as the administration unveils one of its latest high-profile manufacturing and defense investments.
