Voting for the 2026 midterm elections is officially up and running.
Early in-person voting kicked off in several states today, with a mere 46 days between now and November 3rd!
Democrats are going with the tactic of fomenting as much anti-Trump hatred as possible to generate votes. As expected, that’s their go-to top political strategy.
Meanwhile, Republicans are highlighting the danger of the ‘isms’ that would come with a Democrat takeover of either — or, God forbid both — Houses of Congress:
President Trump’s former Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, also addressed the high stakes as voting for the midterms started to kick off.
Leavitt described why this election is without a doubt “the most important midterm elections in the history of our country” in this Fox News appearance:
The ‘contrast’ and ‘crossroads’ that Leavitt referenced couldn’t be more clear.
The question, as always, is whether or not voters actually turn out.
Or, to view it through what might be a more appropriate angle — WHICH voters actually turn out to vote?
A handful of states including Virginia, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Idaho kicked off their in-person voting today.
That comes only days after the Supreme Court knocked out President Trump’s push to restrict mail-in ballots to ensure election integrity, as reported by the Associated Press:
The reality is that the economy is surging. (We’ll get to some of those numbers in a moment.)
But the reality is also that gas and grocery prices are all still seriously too high — and that’s a problem going into the midterms.
And there’s the issue of RINO’s still taking up pasture space while they ought to be put OUT to pasture.
Carl Higbie, a fierce America First guy and one of President Trump’s most ardent supporters, boldly summed up that issue with this AI-generated parody campaign ad for ‘Republicans’:

The empty promises from Congressional Republicans are likely to sour many Republican voters during this election.
Not to mention the bold (but very plausible) claim that Laura Ingraham just made.
Do many ‘Republicans’ even WANT to retain a majority in the House and Senate?
Ingraham articulated her theory while discussing the midterms and President Trump’s unprecedented economic successes with Larry Kudrow, as highlighted in this report from the New York Post:

That would sound ludicrous — actual crazy talk — if it didn’t make so much sense.
Why AREN’T Republicans going to war and shouting from the rooftops about the UNBELIEVABLY HISTORIC economic turnarounds that happened in just the first year of Trump’s current term… as opposed to Biden’s entire four years of screwing it all up — almost beyond repair?

If you watched that clip, you heard Larry Kudrow point out that a working man in the US without an expensive college degree is currently making somewhere around $200,000 a year.
Those are tradesmen, carpenters, pipe fitters, electricians, welders, plumbers, and blue-collar workers.
Why, going into the midterms, are Republicans not highlighting that reality?
Unless… Ingraham is right, and Republicans in Congress actually don’t want to win — would actually rather slide out from under the pressure from President Trump AND REPUBLICAN VOTERS to pass his agenda?

Are able to run with stories like this:
Could House and Senate Republicans just please stop making it so easy for the lamestream Democrat-leaning and Trump-hating media outlets, please?
President Trump, on the other hand, just highlighted exactly what Ingraham said Republicans SHOULD be ‘shouting from the rooftops’.
Check out the still images he shared via his Truth Social account, pointing out SO MANY WAYS he has made historic gains following the Biden economic catastrophe:

But that Truth Social post shows everything from overall inflation, groceries, gas prices, rent, electricity, and even new and used vehicles dropping in price CONSIDERABLY under President Trump, compared with what happened under Biden.
The second image he shared from that report may be one of the most telling, with ‘record high’ median household income:
But then again, the THIRD still image President Trump grabbed from that Fox News report may be even bigger news:
That shows the lowest poverty rate in the US under President Trump during this term… since those statistics have been kept!
So, as Laura Ingraham asked — why aren’t Republicans shouting this from the rooftop… if they actually WANT to retain a majority in the House and Senate?

I have to be honest here.
I’m trying not to be a ‘panican’, but I’m worried.
I’m worried that the justifiable anger at Republicans in the Senate and House will cause people to stay home, rather than vote.
And I’m worried that the misinformation wing of the Democratic Party will hold sway over the uninformed and systemically weaponized masses… who WILL show up to vote.
The turnaround from the 4 abysmal Biden years that we’ve witnessed in just a matter of months can be easily understated, simply because it is almost unbelievably crazy in it’s sheer scope.
It’s easy to forget what came before, less than two years ago.
It’s equally easy to neglect to realize that those days could come surging back with a vengeance.
And not everything the Trump Administration has attempted — election integrity, etc. — has gone off without a hitch.
It’s imperfect, just like the Administration.
Just like Trump.
But as I’ve seen time and time again articulated today on social media as the early in-person ballots start to open:
Imperfect is an acceptable option compared with letting Democrats win back the reins of power.
Only time will tell how this will ultimately play out.
But with only 46 days to go and ballots starting to open as of today, let me urge you in the strongest possible way to take part, and vote.
That system, too, is imperfect. We have seen the systemic flaws and the flagrant election stealing play out time and time again.
But for now, it’s what we have.
It’s what some of the bloodiest wars ever waged have been fought over.
The right to cast a ballot is no small thing.
Let us exercise that right as long as it remains in our power to do so, and pray that God gives this country more time to come back under the full protection of his blessing.
That work, in my estimation, is not fully accomplished — though we’re finally on the right vector heading, again!
But we still have more work to do, and more steps to take, to see it done.
