An anti-gun nutcase has been arrested after (allegedly) vandalizing the 9/11 Memorial in New York City.
On Monday, 31-year-old Jonathan Andrew Tijerina filmed himself spray-painting the link of his organization’s website, “Juststopkillingkids.com,” onto the memorial, which is meant to honor the lives lost during the September 11, 2001 terror attack.

Here is the jerk who spray-painted the 9/11 Memorial.
On Monday, October 26, 2026, 31-year-old Jonathan Andrew Tijerina spray-painted red across the engraved names on the North Tower reflecting pool’s bronze panels. He filmed it, posted the video, and was arrested shortly afterward for criminal mischief and making graffiti. Damage was estimated at over $2,500; the paint was quickly removed with no permanent damage.
He has yet to be sentenced, but I hope he gets the maximum allowed.
Tijerina uploaded the video of himself vandalizing the memorial onto social media.

This Loser Marxist, Jonathan Andrew Tijerina, 31, sprayed the url of his Anti-2nd Amendment website that demands a full national Gun Registry so that the Government can easily go door-to-door to CONFISCATE your tool of self-defense.
Mr. Tijerina was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and making graffiti, police said.
These people are totally DERANGED. They could NOT CARE LESS about respecting our country, what it has been through, and what it was FOUNDED ON. All of that is super-ceded for their desire for total CONTROL and POWER by their Marxist Overlords.

Tijerina was arrested on-the-spot right after doing the crime.
He is now facing charges of criminal mischief and making graffiti.
CBS News spoke to a witness who saw the act of vandalism in-person:
Ed Duffy, a 16-year-old visiting from the United Kingdom, told CBS News New York he witnessed the crime.
“I saw somebody with red spray paint, and they sprayed ‘just stop killing kids’ over some of the names,” he said. “And then within, like, less than a minute, the police came and arrested him.”
Thankfully, it appears that the spray paint has already been cleaned off and the monument restored to its original state.
The New York Post reported:
Tijerina identified himself as the person behind the vandalism that cost over $2,500 in damages, according to police.
“My name is Jon Tijerina and I’ve just spray-painted ‘just stop killing kids’ on the 9/11 Memorial,” Tijerina boasted.
The 9/11 Memorial and Museums announced it had removed the spray paint, returning the memorial to its previous state.
“The 9/11 Memorial is a sacred place of reflection at the heart of a rebuilt World Trade Center that honors the 2,983 victims killed in the September 11, 2001 and February 26, 1993 terrorist attacks. Yesterday’s brief incident was swiftly addressed by security staff and law enforcement, and the impacted area was immediately restored to its commemorative state,” a spokesperson told CBS New York.
Tijerina’s website promoted “nonviolent civil resistance” as the answer to his campaign, saying it was the way to change laws and society.
Tijerina promoted his arrest as a win, attempting to get the attention of President Trump and NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
“On October 26, 2026, Jon Tijerina was arrested for spraying red paint on Freedom Tower in NYC. He is demanding that Trump and Mamdani enforce common-sense, highly popular demands with respect to guns such as Universal Background Checks and a National Gun Registry,” Tijerina’s organization wrote in a follow-up post.
He cited the mass shooting after the Florida A&M homecoming football game as a reason for his alleged vandalism.
Tijerina’s “civil resistance organization” made two demands to “Just Stop Killing Kids” – calling for universal background checks and universal gun registry.
Notably, this is the first time the 9/11 Memorial has ever been vandalized…
And, coincidentally, it comes just over a month after two lefty politicians were spotted making light of the worst terrorist attack America has ever faced.
