Washington Examiner economics columnist Tiana Lowe Doescher blasted Troy Jackson’s (D-ME) campaign against Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), saying he can’t act like she’s Marjorie Taylor Greene.

“This is the longest serving woman in the Senate, right,” Doescher said Monday on CNN This Morning. “Someone who voted against confirming Amy Coney Barrett, someone who has voted against a lot of President Trump’s signature legislation including, you know, the ones that included pro-life stipulations for federal funding, and someone who voted to convict Donald Trump.”

Jackson faced criticism after telling Collins to “shut up” during a debate Thursday after an individual disrupted the event, verbally protesting against data centers and saying they were polluting the planet.

“So, this is obviously one of Troy’s supporters,” Collins said.

“Oh, shut up,” Jackson said in response. “I don’t even know that kid.”
