Americans should just chill out, according to Iranian terror leaders, because their chant, already used for decades as a threat, “Death to America,” doesn’t really mean “Death to America.’
“It should be fairly obvious that the phrase ‘Death to America,’ which Iranians have been chanting since the triumph of the Islamic Revolution, does not in any way express any ill will toward the American people,” said a statement from Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps leaders, who wrote a 26-page “letter” to express their hatred for President Donald Trump and their invitation for Americans to visit.
“‘Death to America’ is a prayer for the eradication of the diabolical ruling elite whose seat of power is the White House. It is a cry born of the pain of oppression,” the IRGC claimed.
“In this light, the true meaning of ‘Death to America’ is ‘Death to the crimes perpetrated by the American elite. It is, in a word, not an expression of ill will toward the American people.”
The IRGC has openly been advocating for Democrats and against President Donald Trump, who is not on the ballot, for the 2026 midterms.
A report at Breitbart confirmed the IRGC also claimed that protesters around the world who burn the American flag, are “not hostile to the American people.”
The IRGC is a terror organization that belongs to the armed forces of Iran. Its open letter asks for Americans to visit the Strait of Hormuz, and suggests the 911 Islamic terror attack on America actually was a “false-flag operation.”
The report charged, “The unhinged missive regularly condemned President Donald Trump as corrupt, ‘crass,’ and ‘ignorant,’ while elevating Iranian dictator Mojtaba Khamenei, the ‘supreme leader,’ as an enlightened and benevolent leader. In reality, Khamenei has not been seen in public since he was named to succeed his father, nor is there any concrete evidence he is in charge of the country. Similarly, the IRGC condemned Trump for trusting family members with government positions, such as son-in-law Jared Kushner engaging in diplomacy, while omitting that Khamenei’s only known credential for becoming ‘supreme leader’ was being the son of the prior dictator.”
IRGC operative Hossein Mohebbi told a news conference the letter was meant to “tug at the heartstrings of the American people” and allow them to better understand Iran’s agenda, the report said.
The letter blatantly condemns the U.S. as the “greater Satan” and indoctrinated Americans that the Quran is superior.
Iran, which has a decades-long history of taking Americans hostage, now wants them to visit.
“You can make a short trip to any part of Iran you wish—possibly even the Strait of Hormuz—and personally ascertain for yourselves the verity of our assertions,” the letter said.
It charges that “very smart experts,” unidentified, still believe American “intelligence agencies” perpetrated the 9/11 terrorism.
The letter insists, “Americans need to rise up and put an end to this miserable situation that their country, and the world at large, is facing.”
And, Breitbart explained, “Equating Jesus Christ, the Son of God in the Christian faith, and the ‘Mahdi,’ the apocalyptic ‘hidden Imam’ the Iranian regime awaits, the letter asks Americans to stand ‘by our side as we are led by Mahdi and Christ toward final victory.'”
Social media delivered a terse verdict: “I am sure that was reassuring to Americans.”
