INSANE: Hero Soldiers Rescue Kids Moments After Mother Crashes Car, Then Stabs Them With a Knife

This is a whole new level of insanity.

A mother in Washington is facing multiple charges after wrecking her car, then proceeding to take out a knife and attack her two daughters.

It happened just before 9 AM on Monday morning on the 1-5 highway.

Reportedly, the 35-year-old mother was driving erratically and struck a barrier, causing her to swerve and crash into a semi-truck before hitting the barrier again, which resulted in her SUV rolling over several times.

She, along with her 9-year-old and 15-year-old daughters, were able to crawl out of the vehicle — but, that’s when she pulled out a knife and attacked them.

Miraculously, two soldiers were driving by and noticed what was going on.

These two heroes dropped what they were doing, pulled over, and rescued the girls, who are now in the hospital in stable condition.

Here’s are some photos from the scene:

Woman was taken into custody and expected to be charged with two counts of assault, vehicular assault, and two counts of reckless endangerment.

God bless those two soldiers!

Thanks to them, both of the girls are expected to survive, although the 9-year-old suffered severe injuries, including broken bones and a stab wound.

Please keep their recovery in your prayers.

The mother has since been discharged from the hospital and is now facing multiple charges.

King 5 reported:

Janieka Amber Marie Ellington, 35, faces seven felony charges stemming from the Oct. 5 crash and alleged attacks.

In addition to the four attempted murder counts, prosecutors charged her with two counts of vehicular assault and one count of felony harassment involving threats to kill. The charges were filed Tuesday in Pierce County Superior Court.

Ellington has not been arraigned on the charges. A judge ordered Tuesday that Ellington be held without bail pending a competency determination to decide whether Ellington is competent to hear the charges against her and enter a plea.

The four attempted murder charges cover two separate methods prosecutors allege Ellington used against her daughters.

Counts one and two accuse Ellington of taking a substantial step toward killing each girl with a knife.

Counts three and four allege she also attempted to kill each child by causing the vehicle crash. Prosecutors allege those acts were committed with premeditated intent.

The crash happened shortly before 9 a.m. Monday on southbound I-5 near Center Drive, Exit 118.

Washington State Patrol said Ellington was driving erratically before her Volkswagen Tiguan struck a barrier, crossed the freeway, hit a semi-truck and struck another barrier before rolling.

According to WSP reports, Ellington’s older daughter told investigators that her mother had woken the girls during the night and said people were following them and they needed to leave. The girl said they drove for about three hours before beginning to head home.

She told a trooper that Ellington threatened to kill both children before the people she believed were following them could do so.

Prosecutors separately charged Ellington with felony harassment, alleging she knowingly threatened to kill both girls and that her words or conduct put them in reasonable fear the threats would be carried out.

Investigators said Ellington tried to stab her older daughter before the crash. After the rollover, WSP said Ellington stabbed the younger girl while she was still inside the vehicle and then tried to stab the older girl outside.

This local news clip covered the story further:

🚨
#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting after a Washington mother wrecked her car, got out and attacked her own CHILDREN WITH A KNIFE…

…then 2 United States SOLDIERS who happened to be passing by jumped out, TACKLED HER TO THE GROUND, AND TOOK THE KNIFE!!!!

The girls are 9 and 15 years old.

On Monday morning, just before 9 a.m., she was heading south on I-5 near DuPont.

Troopers say she was driving erratically and she hit the left barrier, swerved across the freeway to the right shoulder, swerved BACK left and slammed into a SEMI TRUCK, and hit the barrier AGAIN.

Then the SUV rolled over MULTIPLE TIMES.

Somehow, all three of them climbed out.

Then, according to witnesses, that’s when she pulled a KNIFE on the two girls.

But two uniformed JBLM soldiers were driving by, they didn’t film it, they didn’t keep driving.

They pulled over and RAN TOWARD IT.

They tackled her to the ground and TOOK THE KNIFE out of her hand.

The 9-year-old girl was hurt badly, with BROKEN BONES and a ST*B WOUND.

The 15-year-old thankfully has no serious injuries.

Both girls are in stable condition.

Thank God.

The WSP sergeant on the case said that if those soldiers hadn’t stepped in, “we can assume the worst.”

Troopers say she’ll be booked on suspicion of DUI, vehicular assault, and FIRST-DEGREE ASSAULT once she’s released.

Please pray for that little girl.

And thank God for those two soldiers.

WE DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS!!!!!!!
