Hunter Biden Claims Senator Lindsey Graham Was Part Of The “Closeted Gay Mafia”

Hunter Biden threw some shade at the late Senator Lindsey Graham during his latest podcast appearance.

While appearing on the “I’ve Had It” podcast, Hunter Biden claimed Graham was part of the “closeted gay mafia” in Washington D.C.

Hunter Biden went on to explain what the closeted gay mafia was.

He shared that it’s a group of mostly Republican officials who outwardly express they are not gay but in their private lives they are homosexuals.

Mediaite provided a transcript of Hunter Biden’s remarks on Graham:

Lindsey Graham’s sexuality was common knowledge in Washington, D.C., according to Hunter Biden, who casually outed the now-deceased South Carolina senator in a podcast appearance on Saturday.

The son of former President Joe Biden spoke about Graham on progressive pundit Jennifer Welch’s I’ve Had It podcast — where he also discussed Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) “really kinky vibes.”

Biden and Welch discussed Graham in the context of what they called the “closeted gay mafia” of “Republican men” in Washington, D.C.

HUNTER BIDEN: Look, before when I would say this and I would joke around and everybody kind of laughs about it and um, but I know for certain and I’m not kidding now, is that there is and everybody in DC knows this. I mean, I lived there for 20 years. Um, my dad was a senator, you know, or vice president, president, all my, my whole life for 54 years of my life.

And um, everybody knows there is like this closeted gay mafia, largely Republican, that exists in Washington D.C., and everybody knows every single one of them who, who’s gay.

And so it’s and, and what I believe, the the only reason that that is relevant is because I believe that internal conflict creates so much vitriol inside a person, that they take it out on the rest of the world and they do.

And so what they do is their whole lives they’ve been closeted. And so you have this like, black ball inside your, your yourself, this like black blackened heart by the fact that you can’t be who you want to be. And so you take it out on everybody else.

And these men, largely men, have done exactly that. And there are, everybody knows who they are. Everybody.

JENNIFER WELCH: Yeah.

BIDEN: Yeah.

WELCH: Lindsey Graham?

BIDEN: Yeah. Of course.

WELCH: Yeah. So, have you seen speaking of that, I think it’s I say that [Donald] Trump is now in his deathbed confession —

BIDEN: Well, by the way, like for Lindsey Graham, like everybody knows that Lindsey Graham was gay.

WELCH: Right.

BIDEN: And I don’t like, I don’t have, I really had, and I liked Lindsey Graham when I was a kid, but everybody knew that he was gay.

WELCH: Right.

BIDEN: And but you know, but we still kind of like talk about it on like CNN like you know, like well then the and again the only reason it’s relevant is because of the fact that they seem to do everything that they possibly can to take out their inability to know and live the their true life on everybody else.

WELCH: To me, it’s relevant because during the day, they are diminishing and um instituting institutionalized bigotry against the LGBTQ plus community.

BIDEN: Yeah.

Throughout his years in the Senate, Graham denied that he was gay.

The Little Things provided details on Graham’s previous response to the accusations:

Though there’s nothing wrong with being single, it’s still stigmatized and quite uncommon among high-ranking politicians. And considering what the Republican party (and Graham himself) tends to advocate for, Graham’s relationship status has gotten a lot of attention over the years, leading to accusations that he might be gay.
He addressed the rumors in 2010 during an interview with The New York Times, saying, “I know it’s really gonna upset a lot of gay men — I’m sure hundreds of ’em are gonna be jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge — but I ain’t available. I ain’t gay. Sorry.”

He also spoke up about his sexuality in 2018 after comedian Chelsea Handler made a controversial joke about it. At the time, she wrote, “If you’re wondering why Republicans took a sick day today, it’s probably because it’s #NationalComingOutDay. Looking at you @LindseyGrahamSC.”

Speaking to TMZ (per People), Graham addressed Handler’s comment. He said, “It’s a free country; she can say what she wants to say, I don’t care. I don’t think much about what she says at all.” Then, he also added, “Number one, she knows zero about me. To the extent that it matters, I’m not gay.”

Conservatives have also tried to say that Graham is gay.

Right-wing political activist Laura Loomer made comments about Graham’s sexuality in a series of X posts, per The Advocate. In 2024, she wrote, “Lindsey Graham has never been loyal to President Trump. When is Lindsey coming out of the closet? We all know you’re gay, Lindsey… and that’s ok.”

Then, in a separate post, she added, “There’s no reason why Lindsey Graham, South Carolina, needs to hide the fact that he’s a gay man. Come on, Lindsey. I like men too. No need to hide. I want you to relieve yourself of your toxic closeted anger. It’s 2024. Nobody needs to hide that they’re gay anymore.”

In 2025, Congresswoman Nancy Mace seemingly hinted at Graham’s sexuality in a post on social media. After Mace lashed out at TSA officers at the Charleston International Airport, Graham defended the TSA officers. Mace then took to social media to write, “Interesting. Lindsey Graham all of a sudden wants to talk about women.” Yikes.

What are your thoughts?
