Colorado is well known for its anti-Christian extremism, under homosexual Gov. Jared Polis and all-Democrat control in the statehouse, governor’s office and state Supreme Court.
Just ask the wedding cake artist, the web designer, or others persecuted by authorities for years because they failed to toe the pro-LGBT “non-discrimination” agenda points when ordered to do so.
Or Catholic preschools, who are barred by state officials from getting a benefit generally available to all other preschools, because they are Catholic.
Or a Christian camp, threatened for failing to follow that disturbed pro-LGBT agenda.
Or the multiple instances where LGBT pushers have put boys in girls’ intimate facilities in public schools.
That last category now has a new level of extremism. It follows a scheme assembled by officials in Jefferson County’s school district and Dakota Ridge High, where officials assembled in secret an agenda to put a boy into the girls’ locker rooms, then invoked those state “non-discrimination” requirements, like those already struck by the Supreme Court, to surprise the school’s parents and students with an open door policy for girls’ locker rooms while at the same time cutting 35 female athletes from school programs.
The situation was described by Josh, one of the parents who discussed the school’s politics with Fox News.
He explained that two girls in the school, surprised by the agenda, were discussing the situation during a conversation in a school parking lot.
“The coach found out about that and immediately pulled two of the girls out and was gonna bench them because they were talking, [calling it] bullying,” Josh told the news organization.
“And they asked, ‘What did we do wrong?’ And he couldn’t name anything. And I feel like they were actually bullied by the coach for that. They’re just talking amongst friends, as kids do in a parking lot with their varsity teammates,” Josh noted.
“The girls’ locker room is a sacred space. What’s happening at Dakota Ridge is a slow burn to that sacred space,” said Josh. “The Jeffco School interim superintendent said that they need to respect the privacy of all students. I guess ‘all students’ aren’t the 50-plus girls on the volleyball teams that use the girls’ locker room. Dakota Ridge said they will make accommodations for girls who are uncomfortable in the locker room. That should be the other way around.”
Aaron, another Dakota Ridge parent who spoke on the record, pointed out that the school has failed to be transparent on an issue of great concern to students and parents. Josh, Aaron and several others spoke to the Outkick branch of Fox about the fight.
“Following the public outcry sparked by parents like Tanna Donalson, whose daughter and seven other juniors were cut from the volleyball program, outspoken fathers are now stepping forward alongside mothers to challenge state policies that elevate gender identity over female athletics,” the report said.
Parents are demanding accountability from school officials, even in the face of “retaliation from school and district staff against those who question the policy,” the report said.
Outkick said it obtained internal emails showing the district’s leaders orchestrated the plan, anticipated opposition and prepared, “while leaving parents and players blindsided.”
The report explained it was Matthew Zeman, a coach, who “allegedly threatened two players with benching after they were overheard discussing the situation in a school parking lot.”
The episode was confirmed by one mother of an athlete.
“A few weeks ago, my daughter and one of her teammates were told they couldn’t play in a volleyball game, nor could they attend the game after having a private conversation in the parking lot with a few other volleyball teammates about a transgender player they had heard of on the JV team,” the mother said.
“After the other parent and I met with the coach and the athletic director, they reversed this, and they allowed them to play in the game, even though they didn’t even have any idea what the girls had said.”
School and district officials declined comment on their social and political agenda.
Zachary, another father, turned blunt, to Outkick, “The absurdity of trans girls (boys, in real life) playing on girls’ teams is beyond lunacy. How did we get here? Why is Jeffco and these other districts so tied up in this fad? We have a mental health crisis and these school districts are manipulating and grooming these children without parental consent. What about women’s rights? No boys in girls’ sports unless they’re co-ed. Period. The government needs to step in and right this ship, ASAP.”
