I believe we may see a wide spread extinction of global federal governments when the debt-based ponzi financial system collapses.
Governments, refineries, the grid, and public utilities cannot operate without functioning supply chains.
Supply chains cannot function without a functioning financial system.
New city states could form when the dust settles that will lay claim to the natural resources in their respective jurisdictions.
Those city states would naturally reject oversight from self interested federal opportunists.
What were once local governments could become federal governments. Local and simple supply chains will eventually reassemble to feed people, heat homes, and provide medical services.
This would reduce the population, redistribute wealth, reverse technological advancement, and result in an inevitable return to sound money (e.g. precious metals).
While extremely painful, this chaos could put an end to the control structures that have enslaved the planet for a millennia, and lead to a more beautiful world.
Big change is coming. What path things take is anyone’s guess.
