Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is leaving several paths open for 2028, including a possible campaign for president.
The New York Democrat says she expects to decide after the November midterm elections. Her options include seeking another House term, challenging Sen. Chuck Schumer for his Senate seat, or entering the presidential race.
For now, there is no announced campaign for either the White House or the Senate.

It also notes that she first won her Bronx-and-Queens House seat in 2018 and has since become a nationally prominent figure in the Democratic Party’s progressive wing.
