The Lindsay Clancy case just took
another wild turn.
Once again, the jury in the Lindsay Clancy trial was dismissed without reaching a verdict on Thursday.
And, both the judge and the defense appear to be totally fed up.
In court, the judge overseeing the case admonished jurors for refusing to follow his instructions.
He is doing everything in his power to avoid having to declare a mistrial.

It sounds like there is a DISPUTE among jurors. He is NOT declaring a mistrial.
“First off, I want to remind you that you are REQUIRED to follow my instructions on the law as I gave them to you.”
The judge is reminding them what REASONABLE DOUBT actually means. It’s clear there are certain jurors simply REFUSING to take their role as impartial jurors seriously.
Sometime after that, Lindsay Clancy’s lawyer Kevin Reddington took the stand — and, he absolutely erupted.
Reddington called on the judge to remove one juror who, allegedly,
“refuses to listen to the law.”
The New York Post reported:
The trial of Lindsay Clancy — which has captivated the nation since July — took a bombshell turn on Thursday when it was revealed that there was one juror who disagreed with the rest following 36 hours of intense deliberation.
The news, which came via a note from the forewoman that a single holdout “refuses to listen to the law” on reasonable doubt, left Clancy’s lawyer Kevin Reddington visibly raging — and demanding the person be kicked off the 12-person jury and replaced with an alternate.
Jurors were set to return to court Friday for a seventh day of deliberation over whether Clancy is guilty of murder for strangling her three young children to death with exercise bands; Clancy says she was suffering severe postpartum psychosis and should be found not guilty by reason of insanity.
Clancy admits she killed Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and eight-month-old Callan on Jan 24, 2023 — but says she was misdiagnosed and received inadequate care.
Jurors have told judge two times that they are deadlocked, but only revealed details about the holdout on Thursday. Nothing is known about the juror, but there are three men and nine women on the panel.
If the jury cannot reach a unanimous decision, the judge could be forced to declare a mistrial and dismiss the panel. Reddington said he expects the Plymouth County District Attorney to pursue a second trial against the ex labor and delivery nurse, and said he’d be ready to go “next week.”
The shocking moment Thursday came after the jury members were brought into the courtroom one by one to take an oath and answer Judge William Sullivan’s question at sidebar.
The entire jury was then hauled back into the courtroom so Sullivan could read them his instructions on the law explaining the definition of reasonable doubt.
But an impassioned Reddington said the judge’s approach wasn’t sufficient to address the questions about the juror.

If this is all true, then the implications are huge.
It means that 11 out of 12 jurors are willing to let Lindsay Clancy off the hook — while only
one is holding out to prevent a mother who strangled her three kids to death from being set free.
How unbelievable is that?!

If he’s correct…that means there is a law and order patriot in that jury who is willing to let this go to a mistrial, and hopefully get a sequestered jury and/or change of venue. You never know.

Ultimately, Reddington’s request to have the juror removed was denied.
However, after the jury was dismissed for the day, Reddington told reporters outside the courthouse that this lone juror will be questioned tomorrow morning.
