Well, this is certainly
something.
Democrat candidate Jaime West is running against Republican Gary R. Keener Jr. for Fayette County Council District 4 in Connersville, Indiana.
And, her recent interview is going viral online, for all the wrong reasons.
At one point, she went off on a bizarre tirade, threatening to
“fire all Republicans” and claiming ICE is
“stealing people’s jobs.”
She then wrapped up her interview by warning MAGA,
“We have guns too!” before ominously staring into the camera.

I had to make sure she did not have a neurological disorder that could account for the slurred speech and insane rambling.
She doesn’t.
And even if she did have a diagnosed neurological disorder, “we have guns too!” after talking about firing all Republicans would ordinarily be disqualifying.

Yes, that’s a real interview! It’s not a parody or skit.
I don’t know how the interviewer remained so composed throughout it all.
Many folks noted that Jaime appeared to have taken a page out of the Kamala Harris playbook and thrown back some shots of vodka prior to the interview.
Frankly, if alcohol
wasn’t a factor in that trainwreck of an interview, then this woman needs a mental evaluation…

But, this clip wasn’t the only highlight (or lowlight) of Jaime West’s interview.
She kicked it off by admitting she didn’t write an opening statement and wanted to speak from the heart instead.
Then, she told voters that they should cast their ballot for her because they already trust her with their groceries as a delivery driver.
Mediaite described further:
The totally bizarre tirade happened during an Oct. 9 interview hosted by Amy Graham-McCarty, managing editor of the Connersville News Examiner; it was broadcast on LocalTV3 in Connersville, Indiana, more than an hour east of Indianapolis.
West’s segment got off to peculiar start when she was asked to read her opening statement. She said she didn’t write one, so she was just going to speak from the heart, before mentioning she ran a small cleaning business and was the mother of three grown children — all of whom were “pretty successful,” she added.
Things got really interesting a few minutes later when Graham-McCarty asked her about a potentially “unpopular” move she would make that she believed would be in the best interest of Fayette County.
West seemed a bit thrown off by it. She groaned loudly and asked to hear the question again, before revealing her big solution.
“Firing all Republicans,” West said. “I mean, I don’t even talk to them. I don’t like them.”
