With two weeks remaining until the midterm elections, President Donald Trump is visiting a new state every night this week.

Some of the states Trump is visiting are considered purple, but they are all states he won in 2024 where Republicans are now neck-and-neck with their opponents or are trailing them.

The president is traveling to Park City, Kansas, on Monday; Greenville, North Carolina, on Tuesday; Clemson, South Carolina on Wednesday; Sioux City, Iowa on Thursday; Fort Myers, Florida on Friday; Macon, Georgia, on Saturday; and St. Clair County, Michigan, on Sunday.

In North Carolina, Trump will support Republican Senate nominee Michael Whatley, who is challenging Democrat Roy Cooper. The visit is notable because the Senate Leadership Fund, a Republican Super PAC, diverted $10 million from the North Carolina race to Sen. Roger Marshall’s race in Kansas. The RealClearPolling average shows Cooper up 9.6 points over Whatley, who previously served as chairman of the Republican National Committee.

In Kansas, Trump will support Marshall, who is currently tied in polls with his Democrat opponent.

In South Carolina, Trump will support Sen. Darline Graham, who was appointed to fill the seat after the death of her brother, Lindsey Graham. Graham is up 2.7 percentage points over her Democrat challenger.

In Iowa, Trump will support Rep. Ashley Hinson, who is running for Iowa’s Senate seat, as well as GOP gubernatorial candidate, Zach Lahn. Hinson is nearly tied with her opponent, while Democrat Rob Sand is up 8.3 points over Lahn, according to RealClearPolling.

Trump is going to Florida to support Republican gubernatorial candidate Rep. Byron Donalds, as well as Sen. Ashley Moody’s reelection campaign.

While the Republican is favored in each race, polls show the competition is tighter than recent Florida elections. Donalds is up just five points, according to RCP; in comparison, Ron DeSantis won reelection as Florida governor in 2022 by 19.4 percentage points and Trump won the state in 2024 by 13.1 points.

Meanwhile, Vice President JD Vance is visiting Hendersonville, North Carolina, on Monday; Cincinnati, Ohio, on Wednesday; and North Platte, Nebraska on Thursday.
