What follows is a description of the event:
On September 3, 2026, Messianic rabbi and author Jonathan Cahn was the victim of a violent mid-air assault on American Airlines Flight 618. The flight, traveling from Dallas to Newark, was forced to divert to Baltimore after Cahn’s first-class seatmate, identified as 67-year-old Arizona realtor Arthur Layne Lundeen, had an aggressive meltdown and had to be zip-tied and duct-taped to his seat.

Now here’s the real irony.
The theme Cahn’s newest book is “The Altar of Pergamon”.
Historically known as the Pergamon Altar, what’s the big deal about this monumental construction built during the reign of the Ancient Greek King Eumenes II of the Pergamon Empire in the first half of the 2nd century BC on one of the terraces of the acropolis of Pergamon in Asia Minor (modern-day Turkey)?
Yes, it’s one of the “Seven Wonders of the Ancient World” … but is it actually the physical embodiment of the “Throne of Satan”, a phrase found in the Book of Revelation, as emphatically asserted in Cahn’s book?
Maybe it is; maybe it isn’t.
There’s no question that Germany was directly involved in the first two World Wars after the Pergamon Altar was transported to Germany in stages between 1878 and 1886 during excavations led by German engineer Carl Humann. And that Berlin seems extremely eager to start a Third World War with Russia after boldly supporting Ukraine in ways that the Kremlin interprets as unacceptable provocations that could very well lead to full-scale war with NATO and, consequently, a global armed conflict as happened during World Wars I & II.
KEY POINTS: Perhaps author Cahn should instead focus on the long planned Third Temple in Jerusalem, which Netanyahu’s sect of militant Zionism is hellbent on constructing in keeping with a bunch of made-up Jewish prophecies. After all, it was Jesus the Christ himself who proclaimed the Second Temple of Jerusalem (originally known as Solomon’s Temple) as the Synagogue of Satan. Jesus the Messiah even took the highly uncharacteristic initiative to enter that routinely desecrated Temple, during an episode of extreme righteous indignation and with a whip that He braided himself, to drive out the sacrilegious moneychangers and merchants. He did that after overturning their tables and also after driving out the innocent animals sold for slaughter/sacrifice, because He observed that those Hebrew satanists had taken over the whole place presumably for their Master of Mammon—Satan. Hence, shouldn’t Jonathan Cahn be shedding divine light on the real “Throne of Satan”, which the murderous and thieving Zionists who just carried out the horrific Gaza Genocide and Palestinian land theft are dead set on establishing on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Perhaps it is this Third Temple (the very centerpiece of the extraordinarily devastating Greater Israel project), and not the “The Altar of Pergamon”, that has been designed as the “Throne of Satan”.
*Theretofore, no one had ever entered the Temple in such a manner…and no one had ever entered it in that way since the Second Temple was destroyed in August, 70 CE by Roman legions during the Siege of Jerusalem.

The Incident
According to Cahn’s personal video account and independent witness reports, the situation unfolded in distinct stages (as in precisely timed acting sequences):
- A Friendly Start: Cahn stated that Lundeen initially seemed like “the friendliest guy in the world”. The two engaged in casual conversation for hours.
- The Sudden Shift: The dynamic changed instantly when the discussion turned to the gospel, the power of God, and Cahn’s new book. Cahn noted that Lundeen’s face went “from light to dark in a split second,” as if something had taken him over.
- The Assault: Lundeen allegedly began screaming vulgarities, cursing Jesus, and threatening to punch Cahn’s “Jewish face”. When Cahn tried to disengage and work on his laptop, Lundeen struck the computer screen twice—causing ink damage to spread across the display—before putting his hands around Cahn’s neck and lightly striking him.
