White House deputy chief of staff for policy Stephen Miller blasted the Democratic Party as “a party of freaks, weirdos, losers, and crazies,” warning that if they gain power, the “American people will lose everything.”
Miller argued that prominent figures including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani, and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) have moved the progressive wing from the party’s fringe to its center, noting that Democrats have long benefited from favorable media coverage.
“The biggest advantage that the Democrats have always had is the uniform and total support of the crazy leftist media in this country,” Miller said on Fox News’s Hannity Monday. “They’ve always had the support of the big broadcast networks, the print newspapers, and a large portion of cable, too.”
The Democratic Socialists of America has gained influence within the Democratic Party following a series of primary victories by candidates it backed over establishment Democrats. The DSA has framed its platform around the goal of dismantling capitalism in favor of democratically controlled resources, all built on principles of working-class democracy, social equality, and systemic reform.
“They’re not liberal. They’re not just left-wing. They’re radical-left crazy communist,” Miller said. “They’re opening up government-run grocery stores to undercut mom and pop stores. They are talking about abolishing the prison and jail system in this country, so that everybody lives at the mercy of the predators. No borders, no police, no law enforcement.”
Praising Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) as the only Democrat willing to condemn his own party, Miller criticized Democrats, saying, “Minus Fetterman, not a single leader in the Democratic Party has been willing to condemn the Democratic Socialists of America.”

“They’re now the center of the party. They’re the heart of the party, they’re the soul of the party, so the Democrats have become a party of freaks, weirdos, losers, and crazies,” Miller said. “But you can’t laugh it off because it’s deadly serious.”
Miller continued with a stark warning of the consequences of DSA-aligned candidates gaining power, saying: “When you give these people power, everything you know and love in this world falls apart. You have chaos, corruption, decay, violence, poverty. That’s how it ends.”
