U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., has resurfaced on social media to beg for money from the public as she fights the probe into her immigration status in the wake of a federal raid on her D.C. home.
In a minute-long video from inside a car posted on TikTok Tuesday night, the far-left “Squad” member thanked “everyone who sent a note of support” as well as cash donations.
“That goes a long way as we fight Trump and his administration for trying to intimidate me and so many other people right before the midterm elections,” Omar explained.
“We know that they’re running scared, we’re not going to be intimidated, we’re not going to be silenced, we’re not going to be scared.”
“I’ll be out there campaigning alongside all of you and making sure that we beat back all of this and that we win in the midterms – win the House, win the Senate and hold this administration accountable,” she added.
“Thank you so much again and please continue to support us.”
“It is going to be a very expensive and challenging time and so we appreciate whether you’re able to send $5, $10, $20. Thank you.”

She accused Trump of trying to “intimidate” her before the elections and is asking for donations to “fight back”.

President Donald Trump spoke about the Omar saga in the Oval Office on Tuesday, saying: “She could be [deported]. She could also go to jail.”
“I think she’s a sick, a very dishonest person who hates our country. She comes from a country that is essentially not even a country. Somalia. It’s a real sh**house.”
