Introduction. I was MAGA. I voted for Trump three times, last time from desperation. Then I discovered how wrong I was and felt betrayed. Why can’t others wake up to reality? Please consider sharing this with any of your remaining MAGA friends, especially Evangelicals.
Compared to our ancestors that gave us things like the Interstate Highway System built over just a few decades, we can’t seem to do much of anything anymore.
For one of the best examples of our misplaced priorities look no further than what Trump is NOT doing with our infrastructure and the greatest maritime achievement the world has ever seen (see SS United States below).
Here are just a few of the greatest engineering feats performed by our Pre-Boomer “non-victimized” American ancestors:
What did the socially conscious baby boomers give the world that was comparable to our victimless predecessors? Not much. I’ll let you decide.
America Is No Longer Functional
What are today’s Americans building to help future generations?
Nothing.
We shall know the facts soon enough with November elections but many still support the most dangerous President in American History, even making Obama and his hero Abraham Lincoln look tame. Mr. Trump is clearly bringing on a world approaching WW3. Not to mention a hugely indebted America without Liberty that builds nothing of value.
In September 2024, Hurricane Helene washed out a small section of I-40 at the TN/NC border (Pigeon River Gorge) that was built for us long ago. The damaged area is 5 miles long. The DOT just told us it won’t be rebuilt until 2029, at the earliest. At costs that have nearly doubled.
The I-40 corridor was the most difficult section of our Interstate system. Even still, the 28-mile-long section was completed in just 7 years 10 ms from 1961-1968. We are now looking at a 5-mile section that might be completed in 5 years.
The latest price tag for repairs is $2B+, if we are lucky. Putting that into perspecrive, the entire I-40 corridor was constructed for around $330 Million (2026 dollars).
MAGA is on the second round and as far as I can see, is making America worse in nearly every category that should matter. Like fixing a critical part of our Highway system.
We are objectively unable to build like we used to do as a Nation. At the rate we are going, replacing our crumbling infrastructure will take 100 years. This country will be long gone by then if we let it fall. Why? There are a lot of reasons, but the biggest is that Govt at all levels has gotten insanely large and unmanageable due to actions behind closed doors from both political parties.
Helping things along and doing the opposite of what Conservatives like Massey and Greene would do (but now uninstalled) the Trump administration is busy spending our dwindling resources on two unending wars2 and the nonstop rollout of AI Data Centers.3 When our economy is tanking because of intentionally hidden inflation and AI driven job losses, any Federal project today is a jobs program first and foremost. That means nothing gets done.
Crazy me. I thought “job programs” were only necessary in Depressions.
Of course, starting wars and buiding AI Surveillance Centers are the main reasons why Trump was allowed in the White House by Mr. Global’s election control department in 2024. Trump and Mr. Global have been an amazingly successful team.
MAGAs on the Ship of Fools don’t want to think too hard on that.
I recently ran across this comment from a Trump loving Zionist Christian (mutually exclusive) which nicely summarizes what we are up against.
My response to this “Christian” who has been brainwashed by the master deceiver of all time.
No response. There can be no response from any real Christian.
I have read the Bible cover to cover. Because I am a Christian, I spend more time in the New Testament (Covenant)4 than MAGAs who seem entrenched in the Old Testament (Covenant). Jesus said we should always try to correct our “brothers” in Christ. But at some point, if nothing changes, you move on – still praying for them but cutting the cord. Many of these people will amazingly vote for Trumps endorsed candidates.
I believe MAGA Evangelicals are misinformed on two key “facts”. One, that Trump was “chosen” by God to save the day because of an ear wound.5 Secondly, that Trump’s “blasphemy” is somehow justified because he is a prophet of God. A prophet that protects pedophiles that cause children to Sin?
To show how out of touch MAGAs are with what is happening under the Trump administration, AMAC (Association of Mature American Citizens) just sent me (I am mature now) a magazine touting Trump endorsed candidates as the only answer we have to our problems. They say we must vote MAGA because Trump is for Liberty. They say we must stop the Democrats because they are Communists and only they want Slavery. What they don’t understand is that Trump’s Fascism and Democrat Communism are two sides of the same coin of technocratic slavery.
So, the MAGA choice is the better one because it’s our Tyranny. That’s what happens when we are given two false choices and both are the same choice with a different Uniparty flavor designed to capture fools opposed to the other “side.”
How naive and brainwashed can people be that are that uninformed and ignorant of Trumps AI rocket launch to the surveillance state since the day he took office.
I wrote AMAC saying their Liberty argument was dangerous, brainwashing nonsense. I also reminded them and their misguided Christian Evangelical membership that defending Satanic perverts by refusing to name names6 or possibly being involved personally7 are hardly the actions of a Man of God, let alone reasons for voting for his endorsed MAGA candidates.

- 1961: Construction of the actual I-40 mountain section began in earnest. Grading and bridge construction were substantially complete by the end of 1964, but paving was held up while the North Carolina portion was brought along.
- October 24, 1968: The completed 37-mile Newport, TN–Haywood County, NC section was officially opened to traffic by the two states.
- In the first five years (1956–1961), approximately 10,440 miles — about 25% of the 41,000-mile system — had been opened to traffic by the time the Eisenhower administration ended on January 20, 1961.
