The fake news is at it again.
On Thursday, Politico — one of the media outlets that President Trump kicked off White House grounds — ran a smear piece claiming that Susie Wiles’ job is on the line.
The article says that President Trump is privately considering firing his longtime Chief of Staff behind-the-scenes.
But, President Trump quickly dismissed the report as complete and utter nonsense.
Take a look:
NEWS: President Trump totally SMACKS DOWN Politico’s hit piece claiming he was thinking of firing Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, telling the outlet: “TOTAL FAKE NEWS! Politico doesn’t care about facts, integrity, or honest journalism — it’s why I kicked them out of the White House!”…

Politico was forced to include President Trump’s statement refuting their absurd report in the original article.
Read an excerpt from the
Politico hit piece here:
It’s Susie’s turn.
At moments of frustration and adversity, President Donald Trump has long made a habit of calling up friends to ask what they think of his advisers — and whether he should consider making changes.
These days, he’s asking about Susie Wiles, the once-unassailable White House chief of staff.
Trump has been soliciting allies’ views of Wiles and musing about replacements for his top aide, according to four people with direct knowledge of the conversations.
We’re told Trump is getting plenty of encouragement from rivals to Wiles and people who’ve felt “burned” by his loyal enforcer. Some have been sharing unfavorable coverage of Wiles and her family (more on that below) with the president.
“She’s burned a lot of people,” a Republican operative close to the White House said.
Trump stood by Wiles in a statement to Playbook.
“TOTAL FAKE NEWS Politico doesn’t care about facts, integrity, or honest journalism — it’s why I kicked them out of the White House!” the president said. “Susie Wiles is my loyal and longest serving Chief of Staff — there is a reason for that. She has been with me since the beginning, is my trusted advisor, and has my COMPLETE confidence. President DONALD J. TRUMP.”
And so far, Wiles has yet to discuss how long she’ll remain chief of staff with the president, according to a White House official familiar with the matter.
The fake news media is really grasping at straws here.
Susie Wiles is as loyal as they get.
She has been working with President Trump for over 11 years — since the beginning of MAGA, and he’s done nothing but heap praise upon her.
Not to mention the fact that Wiles has just won a battle with cancer, during which she remained in her post and continued working hard for the president and our country.
Why would he want to get rid of her now?
It makes no sense.
The Hill noted:
Wiles is considered one of Trump’s most trusted advisers and confidants. She has played a major role in shaping his second administration and in securing his 2024 presidential victory as co-campaign manager.
Trump has also publicly praised Wiles on numerous occasions. After Wiles announced that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year, Trump referred to her as “an amazing person” and “an amazing fighter.” Wiles announced last month that she was cancer free.
Politico’s reporting comes weeks after news surfaced that Trump political advisers James Blair and Chris LaCivita, who served as Wiles’s co-campaign manager in 2024, were paid to travel to the Balkans to advise a pro-Russian political party ahead of an election there.
Trump said in a Truth Social post that he was not aware the two had taken the trip and that he would fire them if any wrongdoing took place.
This is just another lame attempt to sow division and doubt ahead of midterms.

Fake News Politico ran a story this morning saying Trump is asking around about replacing his chief of staff Susie Wiles.
Trump answered it himself.
He called it TOTAL FAKE NEWS and said Wiles has his complete confidence.
Four anonymous sources versus the President on the record.
I know who I believe. The media wants chaos 19 days before an election. Do not give it to them.
