President Trump and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth have approved execution by firing squad for jihadist terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan.
Hasan is the former Army major who carried out the horrifying 2009 Fort Hood terrorist attack, which killed over a dozen people and left many others wounded.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has recommended — and President Donald J. Trump has approved — death by U.S. Army firing squad for convicted terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan, the jihadist who opened fire on unarmed American soldiers at Fort Hood in 2009. He killed 13 people and wounded 32 others while shouting “Allahu Akbar” during the attack.
The Secretary of the Army will set the time and place of the execution. Judgement day for Hasan has finally come.
Hasan has been on death row since 2013.
His execution will be the first the U.S. military has carried out in over 60 years.
The last military execution took place in 1961, with the hanging of Army Pvt. John A. Bennett, who was convicted of rape and attempted murder.
For months, the U.S. army has been laying the groundwork to resume military executions.
In June,
Military.com reported on those efforts.
The Army plan is called “Operation Resolute Justice” and involves coordination with the Federal Bureau of Prisons for possible executions at the federal prison complex in Terre Haute, Ind.
The plan outlines procedures for transferring condemned prisoners from the U.S. Disciplinary Barracks at Fort Leavenworth, Kan., to Terre Haute, arranging a viewing station for witnesses and coordinating with federal prison officials. Terre Haute has housed all the federal government’s executions since 2001.
The Army’s preparations come as capital punishment has regained prominence at the federal level. During his first term, President Donald Trump oversaw 13 federal executions between July 2020 and January 2021, ending a 17-year pause in federal executions.
Since returning to office, Trump has again emphasized support for the death penalty, signing an executive order on the first day of his second term, titled “Restoring the Death Penalty and Protecting Public Safety,” directing the attorney general to ensure that laws authorizing capital punishment are pursued and implemented.
Although military executions operate under a separate legal system, no military death sentence can be carried out unless it receives presidential approval.
Even though military executions operate under an entirely separate legal system from civilian judicial procedures, death sentences may not be carried out without presidential approval.
Now, President Trump has just given the go-ahead, under Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s advice.
And, the implications of resuming military executions are very intriguing…
Think about it: we are about to head into the second half of President Trump’s second term.
Could he be preparing to unleash justice once the midterms are over and out of the way?..
Are we headed towards military tribunals, perhaps?
Clandestine on X had some interesting insight on what this could mean:

Now the question becomes, why is Trump bringing back US MIL executions by firing squad? Is this a sign of more things to come? Is this psychological normalization for the public to begin accepting US MIL executions again?
Trump is back to executing people with the military while also directly accusing the Dems of collaborating with our foreign adversaries and collaborating with our enemies in wartime? Trump also just threatened to arrest the cartels and their allies as “enemy combatants”.
Are you all thinking what I’m thinking?
Your thoughts?
