Pregnant Woman Among Victims In Allah-Inspired Paris Stabbing Spree: Reports

image-329.jpg

Days after an apparent Islamic radical rammed a vehicle into a crowd of LGBT celebrants in Germany, another violent incident hit the streets of Paris … and it follows a frustratingly familiar narrative.

According to reports, the perpetrator allegedly declared that Allah instructed him to carry out violence against women, but local authorities declined to investigate it as an act of terrorism.

Breitbart provided an update indicating that one of the three victims had been identified as a pregnant woman:

UPDATE 1330: The mayor of the local 17th arrondissement, Geoffroy Boulard, has confirmed on X that one of the victims in the apparent stabbing attack was pregnant. Le Parisien reported that the victims are 19, 24, and 36 years old.

Despite the attacker reportedly claiming that he was motivated by “Allah”, the case is not currently being treated as a terror incident. A source close to the investigation told Le Parisien: “The guy said Allah sent me to kill women. But no, he’s crazy.”

The original story continues as follows…

According to a report from the Parisien newspaper, three women were attacked in the street by a knifeman near the Porte de Clichy metro station in northern Paris on Monday. The paper asserted that one of the three victims was pregnant at the time of the attack.

The incident ushered in a new wave of social media commentary regarding the rise of Islamic extremism across Europe. Watch it here with English Subtitle:

The New York Post added these details:

Two of them were seriously wounded but are expected to survive, Interior Minister Laurent Nunez told reporters.

Another video shows the attacker lying on the ground surrounded by bystanders with the knives strewn on a nearby pedestrian crossing.

“It is Allah who commanded me,” the man lying on the ground declared.

Nunez hailed the off-duty police officer who detained him.

“It was a courageous act,” he said.

The motive of the attack remains unknown, Nunez said, adding police could not verify the identity of the attacker, whose declarations were “incoherent” while he was being arrested.

The French national anti-terrorist prosecutor’s office said it was weighing whether to open an investigation.

It’s the second apparent Islamist terror attack in a European capital in a matter of days. In Berlin, an ISIS-inspired madman killed one person and injured 29 others when he rammed a crowd at Pride Fest with a van. He was killed in a shootout with cops.
