As many of my readers know, I have been concerned about the potential for the current regime in Washington to crack down on dissent and possibly even declare martial law around the time of the upcoming midterm elections in November.
The most dangerous period, I believe, will be in the weeks and months after the election. If the Republicans suffer a total loss, meaning they lose both houses of Congress and not by one or two votes but by a legitimate rout, I am concerned that the man in the White House will take drastic actions never before seen in American history.
Trump’s insane speech before the United Nations on Tuesday only magnified my worst suspicions about what may be in store for America in late 2026 into early 2027.
Now I am finding out that I am not alone in my sense that something ill this way blows. Someone with much higher credentials than myself is anticipating the same type of draconian crackdown in the aftermath of a sweeping Democrat rout on November 3, followed by a promise to impeach the president.
Col. Lawrence Wilkerson (retired), in a YouTube interview today with Judge Andrew Napolitano, delivered similar predictions about how Trump might react to a Democrat election sweep.
He started out addressing Trump’s disturbing speech this week before the U.N., comparing it to Krushchev’s angry rant before the U.N. in 1960, but if you fast-forward to about the 7-minute mark you will hear what Col. Wilkerson believes could happen in D.C. after the election, if it goes as badly for the Republicans as some are predicting.
Col. Wilkerson told Napolitano:
Even Napolitano seemed a bit surprised by this statement. But Wilkerson then proceeded to explain why he thinks the stage is set for such a coup plot to succeed. The difference between January 6, 2021, and January 2027, he said, is that Trump now has institutional leadership in place that is loyal first and foremost to him, not the Constitution. He did not have that in 2021. It’s definitely worth a listen and something to consider.
BOTTOM LINE: I don’t agree with everything Col. Wilkerson says in this interview, but I think his intuition is spot on about Trump and the potential for him to act once again in a surprising, maybe even shocking manner in the wake of an unfavorable election outcome. And if Trump does try to lead a coup, it will trigger full-on civil war across more than a few pockets of America.
I have believed for quite a number of years that the globalist end-game to take down America would be to get us involved simultaneously in World War III abroad and civil war at home. Things appear to be lining up in exactly that direction.
