‘It’s Called Judea’: Netanyahu Slams Obama For Claiming Israel Stole Palestinian Land

Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu Responds To President Trump Calling Him F*cking Crazy

The left’s growing opposition to Israel continues to result in alarming claims made by prominent American politicians.

Perhaps the most notable recent example came from former President Barack Obama, who seemed to excuse terrorism based on the assertion that Israel has been engaged in a longstanding foreign occupation of Palestinian land.

His remarks drew widespread backlash, including from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to the New York Post:

“The Jewish people are not foreign occupiers in the land of our forefathers,” Netanyahu responded in a stern video rebuke posted on X Friday.

Obama made headlines when he slammed the founding of Israel and defended Palestinian terrorism in a conversation with Irish journalist Susan McKay during a paid speaking engagement at the O2 Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Tuesday. The paid speaking event drew about 7,000 people.

“They took land off people and they were expelled. And those people understandably said, ‘This is injustice and I want my land back,’” Obama said, after first explaining that European persecution had driven Jews to seek refuge in the Middle East.

The topic fueled some social media discussion:

GOD owns the land HE gave to HIS people Israel

Netanyahu is correct. Jews are not foreign occupiers in the land of their forefathers.

Obama’s framing that Israel simply took land from others erases millennia of continuous Jewish presence and repeated expulsions. The ancestral claim is historical and biblical, not a modern…

Newsmax added these details:

Netanyahu rejected that characterization, citing the Jewish people’s historical connection to the region.

“Our land is not stolen land. This is our homeland; it’s called Judea. That’s where Jews come from. We’ve been attached to it for thousands of years,” he said.

Obama also criticized Israel’s approach to security and its conduct during the war in Gaza, which began after Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel killed about 1,200 people.

“If the attitude of Israel is, now that we are the strongest, the most technologically advanced in the region, then our security will depend on us simply doing whatever we need and taking whatever we want, and not making any concessions to anyone, that may work short-term,” Obama said.

And here’s a flashback to what Obama said just weeks after the 2023 attack:
