The U.S. Postal Service just published its new rules for mail-in ballots ahead of this year’s midterm elections.
These regulations, designed to secure mail-in voting, align with President Trump’s executive order that he signed back in March.
Along with other election integrity measures, the rules require states to submit a list of voters who receive mail-in ballots to the agency.
If states refuse to comply, then they won’t be getting any mail-in ballots. Simple as that.
Benny Johnson broke down the new rules further in this post:

The USPS Published its Mail-In-Ballot Rules For the Midterm Elections…This is HUGE.
The USPS just published a new rule implementing Trump’s executive order on mail-in ballots.
States that want the Postal Service to handle their mail-in or absentee ballots must now:
-Turn over a list of every voter getting a ballot
-Put unique serialized barcodes on both the outgoing and return envelopes
If a state refuses USPS will not deliver those ballots.
A judge appointed by Obama has temporarily blocked the rule from starting. They published it anyway so it can go live the second the courts lift that block for the Midterms
This is a massive step in the right direction towards safeguarding our elections from fraud.
However, in June, Obama-appointed Judge Indira Talwani blocked the USPS from moving forward with the new rules.
So, they will only be able to go into effect for this year’s upcoming midterms if her injunction gets lifted.
Fox News reported further:
The USPS rule, first proposed June 2, moves to align the agency with President Donald Trump’s March 31 executive order, which, among other things, ordered the agency to mandate that all states that plan to use USPS to send mail-in ballots notify the agency at least 90 days before an election and to send USPS a list of eligible voters the state plans on providing a mail-in ballot to at least 60 days before the election.
“Any state that intends to receive mail-in or absentee ballots from individual voters through the Postal Service must ensure that such individuals have been enrolled with the Postal Service for inclusion on the state’s Mail-In and Absentee Participation List,” the new rule states.
To be included on the list, an voter’s state must submit to the USPS the individual’s name and address and include a “uniquely serialized Intelligent Mail barcode (IMb)” on both the outbound federal ballot and the return ballot sent to the individual.
The finalized rule, however, cannot go into effect under an outstanding federal injunction against Trump’s March executive order.
U.S. District Court Judge Indira Talwani, who was nominated by former President Barack Obama, issued an initial preliminary injunction against the executive order in June, ruling that two sections — including the section pertaining to USPS and mail-in ballots — were unconstitutional.
In July, siding with the plaintiffs in League of Women Voters of Massachusetts v. Trump, Talwani renewed the injunction, barring the USPS from enacting the rule.
Despite this rogue judge’s order, the USPS pushed forward and published the list of rules anyway.
In response to the USPS’s defiance, Judge Talwani ordered the Trump administration to issue a defense of the new mail-in ballot rules by Tuesday or else she will block their publication.
Take a look at her order here:
Judge Indira Talwani ordered the Trump administration to defend USPS’s new mail-ballot rules by 8 a.m. Tuesday, nearly 16 hours earlier than plaintiffs requested, saying USPS “created the emergency.” If the government wants until Thursday, she will temporarily block publication.

This election integrity TRAITOR is on a POWER TRIP!!
The USPS rules will simply ensure security and tracking of mail-in ballots + that lists are turned over to the federal government, or they won’t have their ballots sent.
This fight is not over.
SCOTUS SHOULD STRIKE HER DOWN ASAP!
We’ll continue to bring you any further updates as this legal battle continues.
It’s definitely a fight worth watching!
