The Heritage Foundation is welcoming conservatives from across the movement to participate in a three-day policy conference to identify problems and solutions for the future of the conservative coalition.
The Forum 2026 will be held at the Gaylord National Harbor in Maryland this November, just a week after the midterm election. From “old guard hawks,” libertarians, institutionalists, MAGA, the New Right, and even Spencer Pratt, Heritage is welcoming serious conservatives from every wing and faction of the American right.
“Heritage has always been committed to growing the conservative movement through coalition building. The Forum is the latest example of our effort to forge a new fusionism capable of meeting today’s policy challenges,” The Heritage Foundation President Dr. Kevin Roberts told the Daily Signal.
“We are excited to bring together some of the sharpest conservative minds to debate a wide range of the most hotly contested policy questions on the American Right. Our hope is that these discussions will strengthen the movement, sharpen our thinking, and help unite conservatives in the effort to defeat the radical Left,” he continued.
The Forum 2026 is “in service to the movement and the country,” Roberts wrote in a recent essay by the president. “The Heritage Foundation is going to facilitate the conversations and debates the Right needs to come back together.”
While the event will include “serious conservatives” from all factions of the broad coalition, Roberts said it “will not include the coalitional saboteurs who by their bigotry, grifting, and nihilism have shown themselves to be neither serious nor conservative.”
Featured speakers will include conservative writer Ben Domenech, Islamic historian Raymond Ibrahim, conservative commentator Scott Jennings, and California’s Spencer Pratt.
They will be joined by Roberts, Conservative Partnership Institute President Ed Corrigan, former White House legislative affairs director James Braid, Daily Signal President Rob Bluey, commentator and former Virginia delegate Nick Freitas, President of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary Rev. Al Mohler, and more voices from the conservative movement.
“The day after the election we have to start thinking about 2028. Conservatives cannot afford to play defense while the Left continues to reshape America’s institutions,” The Heritage Foundation Chief Strategy Officer Andrew Olivastro told the Daily Signal.
“The Forum will help us start building both a strategic and policy consensus on the right to make sure that we don’t lose the country at the hands of radical socialists and Islamists,” Olivastro continued.
Policy topics of conversation listed on event schedule will include Socialism vs. Conservatism Economy, Incompatibility of Islamism with American & Western Civilization, Immigration, China, a Midterm Report, and more.
“The Forum is intentionally designed to encourage debate, deliberation, and participation from across the conservative movement,” Bridget Weisenberger, vice president of outreach at The Heritage Foundation, told the Daily Signal.
“We want attendees to encounter different perspectives, weigh considerations, and engage seriously with the opportunities and questions that will define the years ahead,” she added.
For the event, Heritage has partnered with the Ben Franklin Fellowship, the Claremont Institute, CPI, Edmund Burke Foundation, Intercollegiate Studies Institute, and State Financial Officers Foundation.
