Fox News political analyst Guy Benson is celebrating a new addition to his family.
Benson, 39, announced Monday on Instagram that he and his husband, Adam Wise, welcomed daughter Madison Halsey on July 15.
“She’s here, and she’s perfect,” Benson wrote.
“We are blessed and overjoyed to welcome Madison Halsey into the world and into our family. Our hearts are filled to the brim. A baby girl. We are just so thankful.”
The Instagram announcement quickly topped 10,000 likes as friends, colleagues and supporters offered their congratulations.
Madison is the couple’s second child. Benson and Wise welcomed their son, Conrad James, via surrogate in November 2023.
Photos shared in the post showed Benson cradling his newborn daughter in a hospital room as she rested in a patterned blanket and pink-and-white striped cap. Another image showed Madison asleep in a stroller inside the family’s home near a window overlooking the backyard.

The post also drew congratulations from several prominent conservative figures, including former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, Fox News host Dana Perino and political commentator S.E. Cupp.
“Congratulations,” Haley and Perino wrote on their respective Instagram accounts.
Benson hosts the nationally syndicated “The Guy Benson Show” on Fox News Radio and has frequently spoken about his family on the air.
In 2015, he co-authored “End of Discussion: How the Left’s Outrage Industry Shut Down Debate, Manipulates Voters, and Makes America Less Free (and Fun)” with Mary Katharine Ham.
Benson and Wise, a talent agent, married in 2019.
Benson has described himself as a “free-market, shrink-the-government conservative” who happens to be gay, a combination he has acknowledged does not fit neatly into traditional political labels.
Neither Benson nor Wise has publicly commented further on Madison’s birth beyond the Instagram announcement.
