The Hill reported more on Melania’s announcement:

First lady Melania Trump poked fun at her low profile throughout her husband’s second term during a White House event Thursday, making her first major public appearance since mid-July.

“Good afternoon,” the first lady greeted press at the White House Rose Garden for an event highlighting her new foster care scholarship initiative. “I heard you missed me. Here I am.”

The first lady has not played a prominent role in the second Trump administration, often staying out of the national spotlight. But she took the stage Thursday to announce a new round of scholarships for foster children, in partnership with Fox Corporation and IndyCar — ahead of its upcoming Freedom 250 Grand Prix.

Prior to the president’s second inauguration, Melania Trump said in an interview she thought getting used to life at the White House would be easier than during her husband’s first term.

“The first time was challenging. We didn’t have much of the information,” she told Fox News at the time. “But this time, I have everything … I already selected the furniture that needs to go in, so it’s a very different transition this time.”

“I will be in the White House. And when I need to be in New York, I will be in New York,” she added. “When I need to be in Palm Beach, I will be in Palm Beach. My first priority is to be a mom, to be a first lady, to be a wife.”
The first lady’s newest initiative will provide $2 million for scholarships at Indiana and Purdue Universities to students that grew up in foster care. She has maintained her “Fostering the Future” initiative since 2021.

Melania’s speech comes as Democrats have amped up rumors regarding President Trump and his assistant Natalie Harp.

Almost every left-leaning news outlet has attempted to conjure up Trump’s work relationship with Harp as a big deal.

Take a look:

Natalie Harp, known as Donald Trump’s “human printer,” is the incredibly devoted (some might say unsettlingly obsessed) Trump aide whose job is to print out flattering articles about Trump and deliver them to him in a Lululemon bag. But her whole deal is even weirder.

Donald Trump reportedly said his most devoted aide, Natalie Harp, is the only person who loves him as much as his wife and children.

"She’ll never leave me.”

CNN even interviewed Harp’s brother in an attempt to attack Trump and Harp.

Watch here:

CNN of course is now trying to make Natalie Harp a story they can use to bash Trump.

They've brought her brother in to help do it.
