The major cash fundraiser for Democrats, ActBlue, which has raised, like, billions of dollars for Democrats, has stated repeatedly that it has done nothing wrong.

But it is fixing its system by updating its passport verification standards.

That’s according to a letter to the House of Representatives, where numerous allegations have been made that the Dem operation has taken cash donations for Democrats from foreigners, which is illegal under U.S. law.

There long have been reports that ActBlue, either knowingly or negligently, let foreigners pour cash into campaigns for Democrats they like.

Now a report posted by Fox News reveals the organization has confirmed it is strengthening its “donor verification standards.”

That confirmation came in the organization’s response to charges from House investigators that it was taking foreign money.

“Attorneys for ActBlue sent a letter to the House of Representatives on Monday announcing it is launching a new ‘passport verification program’ as part of its ‘ongoing investment in the security of contributions processed from donors located abroad,'” the report explained.

The report confirmed that Republicans “for years” have accused ActBlue of failing to follow the law by setting “insufficient” standards to verify donors, meaning foreigners could made donations and not be detected.

BREAKING: Kash Patel just confirmed to me that the FBI has “a lot” of ongoing investigations into foreign “straw donations” that dump money into U.S. Elections This is how ActBlue violates the law & turns foreign money into Democrat campaign cash. If true charges may be coming https://t.co/Ysfjz6rqxF

Of late, 10 top figures within the company were asked to provide evidence to Congress, and all pleaded the Fifth Amendment to avoid answering questions from members.

Fox revealed, “A new report released earlier this month …appears to show employees green-lighting donations despite some questions about where they came from.”

For example, its verification program using U.S. passport numbers for identification, the report said, only considered whether there were the correct number of digits in the number, not what the digits actually were.

Democrats have repeatedly proven themselves to be the party of fraud. ActBlue accepted foreign money and misled Congress. Our investigation is not over. We will get to the bottom of this and uncover everything they’ve been hiding. https://t.co/qzL7XX5ecW

ActBlue has confirmed to Congress it is working on a system to confirm identities through passports.

The group’s letter said it will allow U.S. citizens located abroad to donate again because it will be using “the best available technology to allow eligible donors located abroad to verify their identity using a valid U.S. passport.”

Bryan Steil, R-Wis., of the Committee on House Administration, suggested it was a confession.

“This decision to implement a NEW passport verification program only confirms what we’ve been saying: ActBlue failed to verify the citizenship of individuals who made donations from abroad. That’s unacceptable,” Steil said “This new policy should have been in place on day one. Right now, far too many questions remain unanswered, including what percentage of the billions of dollars that have flowed through ActBlue came from illegal foreign sources. Chairman Jordan, Chairman Comer, and I will continue to seek answers for the American people.”

ActBlue told Congress its “passport verification” stops foreign donors. Their own policy says otherwise: it only checks that the number has the right number of characters. No database check. No real verification. Ever. https://t.co/468FQkcoHx
